Oh boy, making me develop his backstory a bit more on the spot. :P

First off, in terms of current (found) family - Alivar loves his crew and his daughter more than life itself. He’s always happiest when with them, especially if they’ve been apart for a while.

In terms of his birth family... things are kind of tense between them. I don’t think his family approves of his current very criminal enterprise, and while I also don’t think they’ve outright disowned him or anything, there’s definitely tension there. So I imagine his reaction to seeing them again would be mostly apprehension, maybe combined with confusion if it wasn’t a planned visit - the tentative hopefulness gets pushed to the back lest it be crushed a little too soon.

☀ What’s your rp pet peeve?

Characters who are written to constantly be on the brink of despair or are constantly in despair. Like most people, I love angst in roleplay and I think it can be a great way to pull at the heartstrings of not only the writer but of the other writers involved. However, angst loses its charm when it is overused and/or when there are either 1) No resolutions or 2) Resolutions are very temporary. I have been involved in roleplays where my character and others will work hard to help resolve a problem only to find that it reappeared as quickly as it disappeared. Not only is this demoralizing for my characters, it is very demoralizing to me as a writer and it, frankly, makes me not want to continue storytelling with the other person.

Ashara had seen few examples of Chiss before she’d met Ozibaumnu, and as all but one of those had been allied with the Empire. She recalled finding his red eyes disturbing at first, but over time she had become more comfortable with them. The contrast against his blue skin was rather… exotic. His face was heavily scarred. Ashara knew the scars were from his years as a slave but hadn’t pressed him on the details. (She imagined the stories were horrifying.) Still, his high cheek bones and raven widow’s peak hair were not unattractive. When she’d first met him, of course, he had been wearing his Kallig mask and from the way he talked, she’d imagined him being … well, much older than he was. Later, when he’d shown her face, she realized he was only a year or two older than she was.

Ozibaumnu often seemed a completely different man back on this ship. Or without the mask. Or in private. Or when she thought of him as ‘Ozibaumnu’ and not ‘Lord Kallig’. She was only now starting to understand that he needed to put on the show of being a dark and imperious figure to discourage other Sith and Imperials from targeting him or his crew.

Now free of the mask, the Sith Lord exhaled into the cold air, his breath visible. Ashara suddenly recalled that Chiss were naturally adapted to colder climates.

Fair warning - Vinjike isn't very developed at all; its very early in his development process.

🌎 - If money were no object, where would they live and what would they do with their life? (Ex: entrepreneur, playboy, philanthropist, etc)

Vinjike would buy himself a luxurious penthouse on Nar Shaddaa, with every luxury and toy he could think of. (Essentially the N.S. Stronghold.) He'd have a staff of floosies at his beck and call 24/7 - not slaves, but people who would be slaves if it weren't for him, so indebted to him - to cater to his whims. He'd go to the casino every night with a different woman (or man) on his arm, and gamble away exorbitant amounts. Basically, he'd live the high life, completely frivolous.

For six months. Until he started to go crazy.

Then he'd lite it all on fire, buy himself a small freighter, and start over again as a small-time smuggler.

Anything can become a prison in large enough amounts.

👙 - Is your character trendy or do they just not give a damn?

It very much depends on the setting. On a dump like Ord Mantell, he'd probably not give a damn. If we're talking about Alderaan or the Senate Plaza of Coruscant, he'd dress to the nines in the finest clothes he could lay hands on.

Daffodil - Do you like trying new things? What is something new you’d like to try?

I like trying new things to an extent! However, I often get intimidated when approaching uncharted territory. I worry that I will roleplay a certain trope terribly and get bombarded with lots of judgment! Though it isn’t something new, I would like to get better at roleplaying very serious and very carefree characters. I am used to roleplaying sensual and noble characters that my mind is wired to write in that sort of pattern. It could be fun doing something different for a change
