Once I get pokemon sword, I'm gunna be running around as this gal who is exploring the region. I'll most likely do little doodles of her as she goes along her journey. Idk what to do for her name, feel free to suggest any you think would be good c:

She's probably from kalos and has a bit of an accent + speaks French. Definitely is gunna have a wooloo.

Current state of things:

Saw the eclipse at totality in Idaho. It was awesome.

Finished reading Gone With the Wind this summer. Also awesome. Had good fun chortling at the parallels between it and Origin of the Pixies. I know what I like.

Wrote over 9,000 words for the next Origin chapter yesterday. Some fun emotions involved. Very adorable.

More or less officially moved into college for the year!

Left my keys at home. Probably confined here until Saturday, since my roommate isn’t here to lock the door to the apartment behind me.

On my laptop. Wi-Fi won’t connect on my desktop computer. Some idiot decided the only way to contact the IT department is to contact them through Wi-Fi. Not helpful. Probably will need to walk to their building and talk to them in person. Can’t leave apartment right now.

Talked to THE BOY! He’s a good boy. Gonna see him face to face for the first time in two years at some point. Today??? Tomorrow???

Currently watching “Jerkinators”, which is playing on the Nicktoons channel. Timmy and Jimmy are about to build Shirley. “I’m thinking he should be human.” “Can he have a tail?” “We can talk about it.”

Still settling in. Blog will return to activity soon.

The boy and I just made long-term plans to be exercise buddies this semester, and we get to be stuck in the same car for two hours as we carpool to the airport over spring break. It’s been a good day.

Update on the things:

Got new keys! They’re just rentals until I get my old ones back on Saturday. My student ID is on the lanyard with my old keys. Bummer.

Just remembered I have reference profile art for my teen Poof and Foop I want to scan in and color before I go on fanart hiatus. Maybe do those tonight. Still need to finish my Kima reference sheet.

Realized I’m an idiot who has Wi-Fi on her laptop and can contact the IT department using the laptop instead of the desktop.

Kind of reluctant to do so. Problem seems to be with the computer, since my laptop and iPhone have connected fine. Desktop has been acting up this last week. I can hardly even drag the icons on my computer. It just freaks. I think it’s old and beginning to die. Oh dear. Laptop is a Chromebook with no Illustrator or Paint, which would be a problem.

“Jerkinators” is over. I have groceries. Mom is gone. No roommate. Guess I’m hanging out here for now.

I am smooth with THE BOY.

I think I’ll see if I can scan in Poof and Foop now. I’m pretty proud of the sketches! I guess I’ll show you guys, and maybe color them tonight or over the next few days. Plan is to have them in a single pose in a couple of their outfits (Poof with and without his saucerbee jacket, Foop with and without his lab coat, Foop in his zodiac colors, etc.)

Ideally I would like to do a profile for my young and adult Anti-Cosmo and H.P. designs since they have fanfics. Not sure if that will happen.

Would you ever consider naming your child after a character from "The Fairly OddParents", "Danny Phantom", "ChalkZone", "Total Drama", etc.? I've always quite liked Timothy (Timmy for short) as a boy's name, and even though Vicky is icky, I wouldn't mind Victoria as a girl's name. Of course, it doesn't work with everything - naming your child Youngblood or Head Pixie might be taking it a little too far... But that's just my opinion.

I could name my son Hewlett as a reference to the Hewlett-Packard printer, which is abbreviated H.P. No one has to know.

Timothy’s a really good name. I did name a character of mine Timothy Banks after Timothy Freshwater from Timothy and the Dragon’s Gate.

I’m waiting to talk about names with my future husband. Secretly I really like the names Quinton, Xavier, and… maybe Zoey, or something? How many families have kids with a Q, X, and Z? I think that would be hilarious- Especially because, hypothetically, if I do marry Bluedoodle, my name begins with M (like Mom) and his name begins with D (like Dad). Best. Bowling. Screen. Ever.

We’ll have to see what happens, though. I would like to adopt at least one kid or all the kids, and that might throw off my naming scheme. But, again, gotta talk about that with future partner. Not setting anything in stone yet.

I’m trying not to pick names early, but Quinton’s really growing on me. I’m pretty flexible, and I don’t want to be that lady who doesn’t let her husband have a say in his own child’s name. My one rule is that I don’t want any duplicate first letters. That would ruin so many designs and decorations.

I have a character named Aurora who goes by Rory, which I think is adorable, so it will be interesting to see what I name a girl should I end up with one. I also adore the name Adrian, but I’m not sure I can get away with that AND Rory.

I also like the name Logan. Always thought I’d have a Logan. And I’m fond of Ian, but my mom threatened to disown me if I name my son that, so I need a really great character to give that name to instead. Drat- that’s what I should’ve named Youngblood! But, “Ian”’s not an herb or flower, so it’s just as well.

Oh yeah. And I will never, ever name a character or child Max. I don’t like it.

Who do you think is more aesthetically pleasing: Danny Fenton or Danny Phantom? Or do you not swing that way? Or am I asking a weird question?

I’m the kind of person whose roommate says, “All the cute guys are taken”, to which my response was, “Okay, next time I see a taken guy, I’ll know he’s cute”. My other friend said of her crush, “White looks so good on him!” and my immediate reaction was to stare across the lunchroom trying to figure out how he would look any different if he were wearing red. 

I’m a grayromantic asexual and apparently have very little sense of what constitutes as attractive. I can’t even remember what color hair my boy Bluedoodle has. He wooed me with his charm. I wouldn’t be able to tell you at all what he looks like, but he’s mine. He knows how to punctuate around parentheses and it makes me go gaga. Just a few months until he’s home~ He asked me out two years in advance and we’re gonna go to a soccer game! Or that was the plan, anyway. If it doesn’t work out then that’s fine too.

So to answer your question, both Dannys are aesthetically pleasing to me because I’ve unconsciously registered the shapes of their hair, faces, and body and they look identical in my brain. I’ve never thought about this question.
