• 🐬 • The smallest of smiles stretched across the Princess' lips as she stumbled down the beach. Her new toes curled into the sand, and she gave a slight giggle. It was finally happening-- she had legs! Actual, real live legs that she could walk on. Now she could walk, and run, and stay all day in the sun. Everything she could have ever dreamed of was within her reach.
Even if her old world was now out of it.
But it didn't matter to her; she had finally made it. The struggle of convincing her father that she would be miserable down in the sea was unbelievably hard- but not as hard as learning how to walk. She still didn't know how, but she was stumbling her way through it.
The dress her father had manufactured for her while transforming her whipped the back of her thighs lightly. It was knee-length; plain white, and simple. No flare, no added accesories-- just a flimsy material to cover up her body as best as it could.
"Now I can be," Ariel giggled happily, eyes wide as she leaned against a rock.
"Part of this world."
Poised on a large rock, I watch the little prince play with his huge over grown furball. What can I do to repay him? ”Floatsam, Jetsam!” I narrowed my eyes as the prince laughed and rolled around in the sand with his mangy mutt. When my precious babies surfaced, I tossed a glittering blue shell on a seaweed string to them. ”Make sure the little prince get this. Now go!” I watch as the pair make their way towards the shore. ~
