Idk if your Valentine's day drabblethingnis over, but if not, could you do Taegi w/ 💋? Thanks!! 💜💜💜
Absolutely, my darling! I hope you enjoy it! 💙💜
💋 ~ “Can you kiss it better, please?”
Your fingers caress soft blond hair and the hybrid’s ears twitch as your skin lightly touches his fur. Taehyung burrows further into Yoongi’s back, nose squished up against his neck. You press your nails harder into his head, attempting to arouse the canine from slumber, but so far you’re unsuccessful.
“Boys,” you whisper. No response. “Guys, come on. Time to wake up,” you say a little louder.
A groan this time from the cat and he mumbles something that you can’t quite make out. You reach over and pat his arm, tugging on the sleeve of his shirt. “I’m serious you two. The food is gonna get cold.”
“We’ll warm it up in the microwave later,” Yoongi mutters into the pillow.
He yelps when you pinch his arm. “I worked hard on this dinner and we’re not letting the microwave ruin it when it’s already fresh!”
The feline rolls over and pulls the blanket higher. “You literally bake chicken in the oven and dump mashed potatoes in a pot.”
That earns him a short tug on his ear. “Excuse me for not being a cooking connoisseur, cat. Basic foods are all you’re getting from me.”
Yoongi grabs your hand and presses a kiss into your palm. “And that’s good enough for us, baby girl. Just give us ten more minutes.”
“Absolutely not! We’re a family and so help me we’re gonna eat like one tonight,” you huff.
The black haired feline ignores you, eyes remaining closed while he drifts back to sleep. You groan, going back to try your luck with the canine instead. “Tae, you ready to get up?” Your voice is hopeful, even if you don’t actually feel like it.
Taehyung shifts onto his back, barely looking at you through squinted eyes. He hums, deep voice a borderline growl as he reaches up to lazily cup your cheek.
“Are you hungry, TaeTae?”
“Yeah, but I’m tired. Can we eat in bed tonight?” He giggles when you glare down at him and you roll your eyes.
Standing up, you go back to the kitchen. Clearly you’re in need of some strong reinforcements. Grabbing a small bowl, you fill it with pieces of chicken and bring it to their room. Returning to your seat on the side of the bed, you let the scent of food waft around the space as you quietly sit. It doesn’t take long for the chicken aroma to hit their senses, if the canine’s twitching nose is any indication.
His golden tail wags behind him, tickling the cat lying next to him. Your fingers pluck a piece of chicken and hold it against Taehyung’s lips. He immediately bites it, chewing rapidly, and his eyes finally open. You lean away with the bowl clutched to your chest as he reaches for more. With a short yip, the dog boy throws his arms around your waist and drags you forward. The blond sits up and sticks his head into the bowl, but you pull back and hold the dish high. Taehyung gets to his knees and you do as well, leg kicking out as you try to get away. Your foot slides on the sheets and knocks into the cat who is still lying down.
Yoongi gets pushed off and he yelps when he hits the nightstand, landing on the floor with a thud. Playful banter forgotten, you and the canine scramble to the edge of the bed.
“I’m so sorry, Yoongi!” You apologize, setting the bowl aside as you lean over. “You okay?”
He waves you off. “Don’t worry, baby girl, I’m fine.” Bending down to give you a peck on the cheek, he stretches once before making his way to the door. “I’ll be there in second after I go to the bathroom. You two go get situated.”
You watch him walk away, debating whether or not to press the issue further. Beside you, the dog hybrid shrugs, snatching another piece of meat and popping it into his mouth. He grabs another one and offers it to you. “Come on, sweetheart, let’s get ready for our movie night,” he says, urging you to lead the way.
Heading to the main room, you serve the food while Taehyung sets the plates and drinks on the table. Yoongi comes in a few minutes later and you all sit down to eat. Conversations filter around the room and soon all the plates are licked clean in no time.
Gathering the dishes, the feline carries them to the sink and you follow after him, telling Taehyung to go pick a movie. Yoongi winces as he gently drops the plates and silverware into the sink.
“Okay, that’s like the third time you’ve winced tonight. Is something wrong?” You ask the cat who shakes his head in response, muttering how it’s nothing. “Liar.” You’re about to pester him with questions until you see a purple blemish on his back as his shirt shifts.
Grabbing the back of his collar, you tug the fabric to the side and gasp at the dark mark. “Yoongi, why is your shoulder bruised?” Your brows furrow, touching his skin softly. “Was this when I accidentally pushed you off the bed earlier?”
“It doesn’t hurt that much,” he insists, but you don’t buy it.
“Maybe we should put some ice on it, just to be on the safe side,” you say, going to the freezer for some ice cubes.
Yoongi grabs your hand to keep you from moving. “You don’t have to do all that. Besides,” he mumbles the rest of his sentence under his breath and you can’t hear what he says.
“Besides what?” Again, he repeats himself, but you make any of it out. “Hey,” you poke his ivory ear, “speak up.”
The feline sighs, tail whipping furiously behind him, the appendage flicking against your legs. “Can you kiss it better, please?” He mumbles.
His cheeks blaze red and he won’t make eye contact. Your response is to pull his shirt down so you can gently press your lips on the discolored mark. Rubbing his shoulders, you rest your head on his back, and squeeze him hard.
Arms wrap around your shoulders and you blink in surprise, looking back to find Taehyung nuzzling up against you. “If we’re having a cuddle session in the kitchen, you have to invite me too,” he pouts.
You giggle. “Nah, the couch is more comfortable for cuddles. I was just giving Suga some kisses to heal his injury,” you explain.
“Wait, what? Where?” Taehyung asks before noticing the bruise on his back. “Oh. Why didn’t you say anything earlier?” The canine complains as he gives the hybrid tiny, soothing licks.
“It’s honestly not that bad,” Yoongi repeats and you scoff.
“Still, you gotta tell us these things.” “Yeah, what if you and I had started wrestling and I had accidentally made it worse?” The dog boy asks.
Yoongi chuckles. “Alright, alright, point taken. Now come on pup, show us the movie you picked,” he says, heading to the living room with you and the hybrid in tow.
Neither of you let go until he sits on the couch, but even then you both just curl up against the feline who starts purring beneath you, arms wrapping around the two of you.
