“Ashe! Where’s my boxes of spices? I thought you carried them in!”

“--and he ran back down the hall. Can you believe that? Ran! Like his rear end was on fire! I mean, really, a grown man -- a knight no less -- getting scared off by a dress or two on the ground, and a few pairs of socks. It wasn’t like they were covered in blood.”
So perhaps her prayer had meandered into complaining, but so what? At least the Goddess cared about her love life. Somedays the Goddess was the only one she was certain loved her.
Manuela sighed deeply, looking down, hands still held up respectfully. At least she could get in these kinds of prayers when she was alone in the cathedral.
“I don’t even remember how much I had, but my room was twice as bad when I woke up. Is this your will for me? To just...be alone forever? Is there some divine lesson I’m missing? If there is, can you send me...I don’t know...a sign, maybe? Preferably something obvious...amen.”

“Ah, Ashe! I was hoping to find one of the Blue Lions. Do you have a moment?”

Sylvain had been crossing the campus when Ashe suddenly came bolting his way with an armful of books.
“Whoa, careful!” Sylvain said, managing to stop him. Unfortunately, those books went flying, one hitting him on the head. “Where’s the fire, Ashe?”

It was hard to notice Francesca there on the training grounds, at least at first. She stood shorter than anyone there, lost among the crowds of students getting practice in before their next missions or mock battles.
It, however, was not easy to miss her when she threw that axe across the grounds, hitting a target dead center. The target went flying as well, and right into poor Dimitri as he crossed nearby.
“Sorry!” she yelled, running up and picking up her giant axe easily. “Guess I used too much strength this time. Are you okay?”
@bluelionhearted
Dmitri’s flight through the woods was not without a pursuer.
Not only was N hard pressed to put as much distance between him and the mob as he could, but he also had a lead to follow. That strange shape, carrying what might have been Alice... He hoped it was Alice; at least if she was being kidnapped she wasn’t trapped in a burning house.
The trees above them rustled with movement, something much larger than a bird or a racoon shaking the branches with each step and leap. Whatever this was on the ground was no mortal, N knew that for sure, but he was determined to keep them in his sights.

Zelda had been kneeling before the statue of the goddess for several hours, deep in prayer. Praying in the early morning afforded her more privacy. Though, once she finished her prayers and stood, she found she was no longer alone.
“Are you here to pray as well?”
@bluelionhearted for Ashe
“What in the world did I miss?” He’s walked in on Ashe doing the finishing touches for the staff dinner and apparently missed the memo.
