HELLOO CONGRATS ON 800 LEGEND !!!!! who is your favorite vld character to write, and which one do you think you struggle with the most?

My favorite character to write is absolutely Keith. Even though Lance is the easiest, I LOVE digging deep into Keith’s brain and past and all the opportunities there are for symbolism. His character arc is the most interesting to me! Plus I love the chance to get a little dry with my silly moments

I struggle writing Shiro the most. I think it’s because his life experience is so hard to pin down because of how mature he acts versus how young he really is. It’s difficult for me to toe the line of silly young dude and wizened leader, but I think I’ve worked out a pretty decent system for now!

what encouraged you to start writing fics?

I actually first started writing fics for the freaking warrior cats fandom when I was 12, on FFN dot net— the ancient scrolls 💀

What inspired me the most was reading incredible works by klance authors. VLD was the first time I encountered and fell in love with ao3. I read these mega series-length fics lateeeee into the night and so badly wished I could create something with as much impact and emotion as the klance authors!

I still love reading works by other klance creators because they’re simply ASTOUNDING. And now I’m so so lucky to even be friends with many wonderful writers!!! So I’d definitely say the creators encouraged me to start writing, even if they weren’t aware of it at the time :-)

what do I do to get my dance students to lock in for their competition next month

Lob dodgeballs at them whenever they slack off and if that doesn’t work use them as dodgeballs

I came up with my user because I love the color blue and I thought mushing it with the word “romantic” would be fun. Then I realized it also sounded like semantics which in my opinion is super dope! It was my twt user before it was my tumblr one and I feel like it’s become my name atp with how people use it LOLOL

hey hi I have a really question this time :) how often do you manage to sit down and write? and how long do you normally write at a time

Honestly I don’t get the chance to write often so when I do sit down it’s usually like once a week right now!! Though when I’m in a fic groove it can get up to every other day :D

I usually write for 1hr at a time when I’m busy and 2-3 hours a time with frequent breaks when I’m not— my attention span is lowkey not great but I’m usually able to grind out around 1k words consecutively before I need a pause! I think I write pretty quickly too so it works for me

HI ANNA!! I do have a dog!! I’m only not posting a pic of him because he lives with my family since I’m in college 🥹 so all the backgrounds are their house, not mine

(I love him so freaking much though it’s def killing me not to share a photo. He is the number 1 most loveable mutt in this universe.)

BUT I will share with you all this really cute shelter cat I befriended the other day!! I volunteer with them and she literally groomed my ear it was so cute
