The crusader against superstitions, idol worship, the caste system. He founded ‘Gurudev Seva Mandal’ A monotheist "One God " anti Idol worship movement for the welfare of villages of India. Wrote Gramgeeta and dedicated it to the farmer and every villager of India. Introduced corporate prayer (not puja) in the villages with the inspiration of Lord Jesus Christ. He wrote a lot of literature for the welfare of the OBC/SC/ST/VJ/NT (93% population of India). Represented India in Japan world peace conference. Was honored by the president of India Mr. Lal Bahadur Shastri as "Rashtrasant" (National Saint). Wrote poetry and Essay on Dr. Ambedkar titled as "Messiah of the oppressed". He founded the peace and reconciliation commission to maintain the universal brotherhood/sisterhood amongst every Caste, Religion in India. Nagpur University is named after his name As Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University. #RajaDhale Thousands of Civil Rights activists, Lovers of social Justice mourn and are deeply saddened today for the demise the Legend Raja Dhale, The co founder of #DalitPanthers Movement in India (the anti-caste movement founded in 1972) This person always recalled my days in panchpaoli slums in my hometown nagpur, i grew up listening to his fiery angry speeches against caste brutalities, through audio cassettes. He published Many poetries and short stories as well as polemical and historical works. One of the famous Marathi journal Khel published in 2012, he has shared about the way the Dalit Panthers were influenced by the African American movement the #BlackPanthers. He also recalled the extensive network of contacts with fellow writers that inspired his engagement with the little magazine movement from the early 1960s onwards, through magazines such as Yeru, Atta, Tapasi and Vidroha. He discussed the literary and political importance of these magazines and the way they interacted with the Dalit literary movement. In particular, he recalls the tacit as well as explicit opposition to Dalit literature from the Marathi literary establishment, and the ways in which he sought to counteract this. Raja Dhale fought the 1999 parliament election from the Mumbai North Central constituency on Republican Party of India, BHARIP (Party of Advocate Prakash Ambedkar, the grandson of Dr. B.R. Today is the Birthday Of Living Legend Mr. Sharad Yadav, most popularly Known as ‘MANDAL MESSIAH’ of India. What is ‘MANDAL’ it’s about Mandal Commission Report. What is this all about? King Shahu Maharaj (26 June 1874 – 6 May 1922) He instigated many Revolutionary programs in order to liberate the OBCs/Dalits/Tribals (BALIJANS) from the cloak of brahminical/Hindu hegemony. Some of The programs are as follows which created a storm in the social life of Maharashtra State in Central India, Which Charged up Mahatma Phule & Savitribai Phule's Satyashodhak (Truth seekers) movement: ---- Initiated hostels & boarding houses in the name of HOSTEL MOVEMENT ---- Started a scheme called “SCHEME OF MORAL & MATERIAL PROGRESS” -----Imposed compulsory & free education for all -----Gave special encouragement to female education and provided various educational facilities to backward Caste students ----Followed a policy of encouraging the establishment of libraries in different places and adopted measures to improve higher education -----Implemented 50% reservations for backward Castes and issued an order on 26/7/1902. ----Legalized remarriages and widow remarriages in his Princely State. #KarmveerBhauraoPatil Today is the Anniversary of "KARMVEER" Bhaurao Patil (22 September 1887 – 9 May 1959),Bhaurao was born in a Jain Farmer family at Kumbhoj/Kambhoja in Kolhapur district. Bhaurao's father was clerk in revenue department for East India company. Bhaurao during his childhood days was directly influenced by Shahu Maharaj, the King of Kolhapur who was promoter of social equality and education people belonging to backward castes.Bhaurao emerged as a social activist and educator in Maharashtra, India. A strong advocate of mass education, he played an important role in educating backward castes and low income people by coining the philosophy earn and learn. He was a prominent member of Satyashodhak Samaj (Truth seeker's society), founded by Mahatma Jotirao Phule. Bhaurao Patil established "Rayat Shikshan Sanstha" (Educational institution) at a small village named Kale, from Satara district, of western part of Maharashtra, on October 4, 1919 on the auspicious day of "Ashok Vijaya Dashami" (Religious Conversion day of King Ashoka). This Organisation was specially meant for the children of masses, so it was named "Rayat" (Marathi word for masses). During his life-time, the Sanstha had 38 cosmopolitan boardings, 578 voluntary schools, 6 training colleges, 108 secondary schools and 3 Colleges. People of Maharashtra gave him the title of "Karmveer (Marathi for "King of actions"). Government of India gave him Padma Bhushan in 1959. A Postal Stamp was issued on him by Indian Post. The university gave him D.Litt in the same year. Many Primary and Secondary schools and graduation colleges in Maharashtra are named after him. #BlueSalute To The Legend.

Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (also known as Rajarshi Shahu) (26 June 1874-6 May 1922) was the first Maharaja of the Indian princely state of Kolhapur between 1884 and 1922. First king in India - implemented Reservation Policy ( Provided 50% Reservation in his state, on 26 July 1902) Revolutionary Legal Reforms. Appealed for caste-free India and abolition of untouchability. Pioneer of Student Hostel Movement for OBC/Dalits/Tribals. De-recognized Brahmanical supremacy and Religious bureaucracy of Brahmins. Greatest supporter and sympathizer of Dr. Ambedkar movement. The Pillar of Social Democracy Shahu's other initiatives included restricting Child marriage in his state and the encouragement of intercaste marriage and widow remarriage. He long patronized the Satya Shodhak Samaj (Truth seekers Movement) A socio-spiritual revolutionary, a true democrat, a visionary, a patron of the theatre, music and sports and a prince of the masses.
