day 36 of #the100dayproject #100layersbyMixy —————————————— Guys, we are FIVE weeks in! This is the second year I’ve played along with a 100 day project, and the days are flying by so much quicker this time. Time can be so tricksy. ————————————— There’s so much I can see in these painting that’s symbolic of what’s going on. Yesterday’s fk up in not recording was followed by a load of dark tangles. It was like I painted out the demons that were berating me for not setting the camera, judging me for being so smug at remembering to take photos before I began after consistently forgetting every day up to now. ——————————————- Today was about counter balance. Light to balance the darkness. Structure to the tangles. day 35 of #the100dayproject #100layersbyMixy —————————————— I’ve been meaning to take more photos as I go along to go with the time-lapse. 35 days in, I remembered! 5 canvases in progress, 5 closeup glimpses of where I’m at. ——————————————- So excited to have go these shots I set the camera back up and begin painting, I was totally in my element and did about an hour non stop. Only to find I hadn’t recorded it 😣 A time lapse lapse. —————————————— I guess it’s all gone well up to this point, and I’m really not a creature of habit so to have achieved 34 recorded painting sessions in a row is amazing! ——————————————- The thing with a project like this, the thing I love most, is what I call the sideways lessons.
