Hey! So I don't mean this in an alarmist way because I don't think Tumblr's going to come skipping along and immediately nuke everything from orbit, but all this nonsense has reminded me of the ephemerality of online content, so tldr: have you ever considered stashing copies of your meta on AO3 or anything? Because it's a treasure.
1. Thank you! I really appreciate that you value it enough to bother being concerned :)
2. Yes, I have! I actually have a queued reblog to this effect; I hadn’t realized until seeing said post that one could put meta on AO3. I have everything (well, all of Hanny Tales; I’m not sure how much I or anyone else really cares about anything I wrote that wasn’t on Hannibal) backed up to personal devices/accounts, but I definitely think it’s a good idea to host it elsewhere where other people can get at it. So I’m planning on doing that--I just have to get through finals first! In the meantime, as far as I can determine this blog hasn’t been flagged as [whispers] adult, so I think I have some breathing room.
Thanks again! I’ll post when it’s up. My AO3 name is different from this (I made all my accounts at a time when I had no intention of building a #brand and no notion that there might be any readers to be inconvenienced), but I’ll link and it should be okay.
