#throwback to when I made BIG blue tape art at @menlocollege. Big thanks to my buddy @greigpotter for holding a competition on this lol. Other than the Darth Vader (I believe), my blue tape art was based off of existing art out there. Well today I was informed that my last standing Blue Tape Art will be coming down because Menlo is remodeling (Menlo is finally letting me go lol). Well after COUNTLESS hours my blue tape Godzilla, standing 7' 8" tall and 6' 7" wide, is finally complete! This has been my hardest, longest, largest, and greatest piece to date! Started this best back in September, but spent the majority of my time working on it since mid December. I'm very fond of the Dark Horse Godzilla so I decided to do a blue tape of Dark Horse's Godzilla King of the Monsters Issue #1 cover by Arthur Adams. I'll talk about this beast a little more in detail once I post the sequence from beginning to end next week. For now I hope you all enjoy :)! (Btw Menlo College students, if you want to see this in person, it's on the wall across from my room in Michael's B Block). And... if Gareth Edwards/Legendary is viewing this, I will make you one (bigger, better, whatever you want) all I ask is an advanced screening of the new Godzilla film for my college.
