One of the most exciting thing for me working in comic books is when you get a description of a character that has never been drawn before and I get to draw her in a comic for the first time. That was the case when I got hired to draw Gearz: A Superficial Life. When I read the description for her I instantly got a vision in my head. Her comic didn’t technically come out in the 90s, but for my brain, 10th Muse makes the cut of my favorite 90s books. A few years ago I got to work on a comic book called Gearz for @tidalwaveprod when I first got a response from them for work a part of me was hoping I would get to draw Judo Girl.
