Gershwin has settled in for a week and had his first handling session today! Had a bit of dog food on a spoon so he could willingly walk onto my hand which he did. He was fantastic! Let me touch and move him while he ate. He did (very thoughtfully and slowly) bite my thumb to see if it was food (it was not!) and he was easily and gently removed. 10/10 Gershwin, good job!!
Remember when a reporter asked Rats what happens “to the poor kid” when someone tries to tackle the 67kg Jeff Garlett? Rats just laughed and replied, “they’d have to catch him first, good luck with that.”
