Blukit - Cub Pokemon - electric They rub their faces against trees to help build up static electricity. Even as cubs, they are a force to be reckoned with in terms of electrical power. / It is not uncommon for Blukit and Cantessian Machop to be seen playing together. However, Blukit are not yet as physically strong as Machop, so caution must be exercised by both parties.
Bulkat - Bobcat Pokemon - electric/fighting They use their muscular strength and electrical charge to protect their young and those they care about. Despite them generally having no interest in human sports, a well-known basketball team in Cantessy has adopted Bulkat as their mascot. / Bulkat and Cantessian Machamp often train together, both to improve muscle strength and electrical power. Unlike Machamp, however, Bulkat have no interest in showing off their muscles for the sake of pride.
More Cantessy Pokemon! We've got bobcats around here, as well as a pretty popular college sports team that uses them as a mascot, so I figured why not use them as basis for a Pokemon? I decided to also use the sports mascot aspect as a road to the apparent trend of "furbait", and I...REALLY hope I'm only inviting the wholesome majority of furries, hehehehe. Anyway, we got our baby cubby and our big buff bobcat. And the blue accents are in reference to the main color of that sports team.
...oh, did I just tease a future regional variant? Mmmmmayyyybe~♪ :3c
