Bad fences, good neighbours, and other mundane things

The Starblaster’s bond engine is a marvel of modern science and engineering. The ship itself, however, leaves something to be desired. It was thrown together in less than a year to carry the engine, built by people in a Light of Creation fuelled frenzy. The kitchen is so small the oven can’t open all the way. The shower takes 300 fucking years to warm up. The walls are so thin that sound carries between neighbouring rooms without even trying. Which isn't really a problem. The crew just has to remember that if there’s anything they don’t want the person in the next room to hear, they need to keep their voices down.
