most of Millie’s days are filled with diapers, giggles, bottles, and strolls around Chestnut. Her heart is content in the red dirt, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She thinks she could get used to it here.

most of Millie’s days are filled with diapers, giggles, bottles, and strolls around Chestnut. Her heart is content in the red dirt, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She thinks she could get used to it here.
Millie heads downstairs to get dinner started when she sees Beau already chopping the veggies. He makes a tasty spread and when she gets up to start the dishes, he insists. They then stay up late talking about anything and everything.
Blurred Boundaries —
coming to a Tumblr near you, next week!
I can’t wait for you to meet my favorite girl, and bring you the story I’ve cooked up. Instead of very posed shots that make me lose the love of it quickly, this will be mostly gameplay shots bringing the story to life.
I can’t wait y’all! *it’s finally time!*
the sun was up, the animals were hungry and the barns were smelly. Millie had a lot to do. But, Penny the new brown cow and her were going to get along just fine.
while Noa snoozes, Millie heads out to refill the feeders, talk to Marshmallow the cutest llama around, and feed the chickens. Penny the hen might be her favorite.
Dinner was done and the animals were fed Beau came up and asked Millie if she wanted the night off. Before she left, he did a double take as she walked out the door. She landed at the Rusty Horseshoe, way too over dressed, and ordered her favorite drink. She then caught the eye of the blonde mullet down the bar. They danced until the jukebox shut off 🎶
— EPISODE 1, continued
The big, bronzed, man of muscle turned around and almost knocked her back down the steps.
Vaughn: “are you at the wrong address perhaps? You don’t seem to be looking for the Holdston Acreage…”
Millie: “is this the right address for the nanny position? I was contacted by a Steph-”
Vaughn: “wait you’re Millie? Stephen hired you for my position? The live in nanny?”
Millie: “yeah… I mean I don’t have my resume on me, but I can get it to you if you nee-”
Vaughn: “Oh no, I’m just taken aback. You do know the full extent of the position right?
Millie: “yeah, live in. Sunday’s off. One little one, cook, clean. Do I have it down?”
He laughed. “Almost,” he said.
They went over schedules, and he walked her around the massive farmhouse. She wasn’t new to mansions having lived in The Valley, but this was just different. He walked her outside of the house again and back down the stairs.
Vaughn: “I want you to meet someone.”
You could hear a neigh and the sound of stomping hooves came closer to them.
Vaughn: “this is Snickerdoodle. She was my mom’s before she passed and pops handed me down this place. Next to Noa, she’s my pride and joy.”
The beautiful horse came up to Millie and let her nuzzle in. She laughed, as they walked to the barn. Every time the man spoke, she didn’t know if she really even heard anything or if she just caught herself staring at him.
Vaughn: “and this will be the other half of the duties.” As he showed her the animal feed and the manure shovel.
Millie: “wait I’m going to be tending the farm also…? I’m going to get dirty….?”
Vaughn: “Oh yeah,” he laughs “I don’t know if that dress is ever going to see the light of day here again!”
— EPISODE 1
Val: “honey are you sure you want to leave the valley? You have everything here at your fingertips.”
Millie: “yeah but I’m not happy mom, I need to get away. I need a new place, a new chapter, and this is really good money. I’ve nannied before, it’s the same gig.”
Val: “you’re going to Chestnut Ridge babe, that’s not the same thing as nannying for the Robinsons’ down the street…”
Millie: “it’ll be good for me, I promise.”
They walk to her already packed Jeep and embrace, she kisses her mom on the cheek, and gets in. She backs down the driveway and heads out - she can feel the wind through her hair as she turns her music up. Nothing but solace as she starts the trek.
A few hours later, she finally arrives at the Holdston Acreage and she heads up the stairs. That is until she almost runs into the man on the front stairs. Who is that?!…
