Rose's blurry vision from episode 5 of Humans-B-Gone
As someone who wears glasses, I can tell that poor Rose desperately needs a pair. Four pairs of glasses, in fact, because just one pair wouldn't be enough. The glamor filter shows her with one eye, but she actually has eight. I'm not sure what glasses for a tarantula would look like, though, especially not one as enormous as Rose is. How would she keep them on her face? Maybe she could stick them on with her webs like she did with her luggage?
But she'd need to get a prescription first, right? I wonder whose job it would be to prescribe her lenses. Do macrovolutes even have eye doctors? If they do, then they wouldn't give the reading test with each row of letters getting smaller, because macrovolutes can't read. And since macrovolutes are all different kinds of insects and arachnids, just think about how many different types of eyes they have. If any of them wanted to wear glasses or contact lenses, they'd have to be made in different shapes depending on what species would wear them, right?
Rose may not be able to read, but her vision is just as bad as the guy from the Twilight Zone episode "Time Enough At Last" who wanted nothing more than to have time to read...
