Nah. I only read a few pages before stopping. Some of the characters (like John) are very interesting, but the story I had to read at the time didn't quite work out.

Every time I see your username it always shows up as Shakira Manoid in my mind.

Shinra is a energy company/government in FFVII, basically the "bad guys", and makonoid are experiments made by Shinra that created humanoid monsters with mako (the energy source they have). It'd be like giving uranium to people (except in the game mako pollutes the earth while IRL nuclear energy is the greenest energy we have currently). It's a ironic dig at people thinking that big pharmaceutical companies (Shinra) experiment on trans people they find disgusting (makonoid).

But Shakira Manoid is fine too, I don't dance as well as she does tho.
