One of my favorite corners of my beauty room has to be this blush drawer filled with rosy treasures waiting to add the sweetest pop of pink. From soft petal pinks to flirty rosy hues, every compact feels like a tiny bow-wrapped gift. 💕✨

There's just something so magical about opening a drawer full of pretty blushes and seeing all those beautiful shades lined up together. It makes getting ready feel extra feminine, extra fun, and completely princess-worthy. 🎀🩷

My blush collection

You can clearly see that I prefer pink to coral shades for my blush. But blushes are definitely the type of makeup I am inclined to impulse-buy. (Next to lipsticks and nail varnishes)

Time and time again I am trying orange shades just to once again notice that they don’t work for me. Which is sad. I really like seeing orange blush on other ginger girls, but I guess my skintone is just too pink/I freckle way too little for it to work. I actually gave another orange-coral blush to my sister who has a more olive skin tone and green-hazel eyes.

Catrice Strawberry Frappucino is my most used one, since you don’t have to pay a lot of attention and there is no chance of overblushing. But my most favourite colour is certainly Think Pink, even though I have to be quite lighthanded. The melon ball blush is the newest of the lot and I love it already, it is such a pretty and clear colour. Flamingo leans more red that the rest and is a universally flattering colour.

Most of these blushes are purely collectives right now.

I just can’t seem to work with the cream blushes and the cherry blossom one breaks me out. I have to be very careful with Dates on Skates and Wawawawooo because they are extremely pigmented. Would you believe me that Wawawawooo is actually the first blush I ever bought?

Of course Rosegold is one of the most beautiful blushes, but mine smashed and the texture just wasn’t right after I pressed it again.
