How did you discover your art style? I like it a lot
Hmm.. I mean, I think It’s less that I discovered it and more grew into it, if that makes sense? Really, it was just taking a lot of things I enjoy seeing in art and slamming them together into a style. I like seeing sort of.. unique and memorable art styles instead of realistic ones, I liked colorful backgrounds instead of lowkey realistic ones, I liked simplistic art. So I kinda just ended up shaping my art in that direction, and as a result ended up enjoying what I was drawing. Admittedly, moving over to lineless had less to do with the appeal of it, and more my fervent and undying hatred for lineart.
There are technically some things I know I can work on (Giving characters more memorable body shapes, and the like). But like.. thats not what I enjoy focusing on, so I don’t.
Really, it was just a result of mashing up aspects I liked seeing in other peoples art, and seeing how I can twist it to be my own thing. I think thats how all art styles are formed, tbh. You see something you like, and you yoink it. Very few people are able to exactly replicate the things they see (and when they can, I think thats actually an incredible talent) However, as a result the things they’re trying to replicate mutate and become their own. All art is inspired by something, ect ect ect.
