19. On Hogsmeade visits, what shops will you go to?

Honeydukes is the obvious- I’m so weak for sweet foods. Tomes and Scrolls would be another that I spent a while in cause I really like book shops, even if I don’t buy anything. Also the Three Broomsticks cause it seems like it’d be nice there- Madam Puddifoot’s doesn’t seem like my kind of place (tho I hope Butterbeer in the actual Hogsmeade is better than the stuff they sell in the Harry Potter Studios in the UK or the Wizarding World in Florida bc that shit is nasty it’s just oversweetened Irn Bru with like this weird cream in the top and it’s not warming or buttery at all it’s just sickly and gross)

24. Which part of the castle will be your favourite?

Probably somewhere quiet and with little footfall. I imagine I’d find a little nook somewhere and spend most of my time hiding away there. 

28. Will you be curious enough to try and explore the whole castle, even if you know you can get in trouble for visiting some parts of it?

I think I’d explore a lot looking for the aforementioned nook, and just bc I love old ass buildings with lots of little corridors and hidden rooms, but I wouldn’t go to any of the restricted sections bc I’m a goody two shoes.

I’d like to say a fox but I’m not entirely sure. I’ve never done the pottermore quiz for it or anything like that.

Hi! I just recently got into the K fandom and want to write some SaruMi fics. I was wondering how you manage to write them so well? Did you do anything in particular to get into the characters head etc.? Or does it just come naturally? Also I really love your fics and I hope you keep writing! ☺️💕

Thank you so much for the nice compliments! ^^ I’m glad you enjoy my fics and the characterizations - this is great to hear!

I’m not really very good with writing advice, but I’ll do my best! Basically, I try to think about what I know of the characters from the various sources - anime, manga, novels, drama CDs, and even other people’s meta that I strongly agree with - and imagine in my head how they’d react to whatever situation I have created in the fic. I do this while planning and then again while writing, and sometimes it means that what I have planned won’t work any more based on the nature of the character and the way other characters have been acting or speaking or the way the situation played out when I actually wrote it.

Planning isn’t perfect, basically. Characters are who they are, so if they won’t work with the plot of my fic, I’m more likely to bend the plot than the way I’ve interpreted the character in order to make things work. This is part of why I write my multi-chapter fics in full before posting - if something changes later in the fic, I have the opportunity to go back to the beginning and make any necessary adjustments to allow for it.

For dialogue, I always try to hear the character saying it in my head, and if I can’t, then - again - the dialogue needs to change. Sometimes it means just adjusting the word choice or ordering, and other times it means they need to respond in an entirely different way. There’s obviously a language gap with Sarumi, so I work based on subtitles and translated dialogue for the most part, but ‘hearing’ the character voice - tone, inflection, and volume - still remains a huge part of it.
