18. phobia

I don’t like cutaway maps of the ocean.  it’s Too Much Water.  I don’t like Too Much Water.  It’s not the idea of open ocean, it’s the DEPTH.  I’ve been on cruises and had no issue, but I can’t look at that one shot in Life of Pi where the ship is completely underwater and sinking.  I had a lot of drowning dreams as a kid, which were more anxiety than actual fear of water, but they left an impression.  being that I am, in every way, Razputin Aquato from the excellent game Psychonauts (except being psychic, Romani, looking good in stripes, and pretty much everything else), I just tell myself that it’s meant to be.

Does Sheila have any pets?

      Yes! She has a adopted Brown-Ticked Maine Coon named Hammy. When she left Newnan and began living on her own; she was thinking of investing money in a pet cat. She’s always loved cats. She wanted a kitten to raise but ironically, Sheila wound up interviewing a widowed entrepreneur whose late husband collected Maine Coons.     Hammy (two years old) was one of the cats up for adoption, named after his thickness and gluttonous habits. Sheila doesn’t like the name Hammy so, she pretends its short for Hamilton. She loves him very much. Whether a potential significant other can be a long-term thing relies on whether he treats her cat with dignity and respect or not.     If Sheila doesn’t want to go out and get drinks with anyone; she talks about how she doesn’t want the cat to be home alone by himself. And if Sheila is gone for a long period of time; she makes sure the blinds and even the TV, are on/open for him. She wants him to be comfortable.    Needless to say, Hammy’s a very friendly and social cat.

UNPOPULAR OPINION || EH.

    I believe that when people open up a new roleplay blog, there are certain memes you don’t need to reblog (yet, that is.) Particularly ones that are sexual and deal with shipping...and a few others too. Because I feel like, when you reblog memes such as that: there’s just a highly unlikely chance you’ll get anyone in your inbox as nobody knows your character yet.     And in my opinion, there’s a lot of people in the roleplay community aren’t spontaneous - let alone confident in sending things just for a joke or, to see where it goes with fresh blogs on their dash. When your blog is just a day old, I feel that people need to understand your character more than anything. And you need general, casual threads / memes before you shake things up.     But that’s just my opinion.

     So with a man she likes, really likes, Sheila would really enjoy just spending three days with him out of state alone. New York, California, Colorado. It’s more so a break from work rather than a average date, but Sheila’s very happy and at peace. Especially if you’re doing this in the winter. Sheila loves winter.

I used to roleplay as Bluu-Halcyon and I really miss my oc Bluu because she was a water witch who could control water and had a really awesome werewolf verse. She was a woman of color, her face claim was the gorgeous Lupita, and I really want to remake her blog, but like...the inspiration is just gone and yet I miss her so much 😭😢
