How long? (months/years): I'm not doing the math, but it's been since AT LEAST 1997
Platforms You've Used: Handwritten notebooks passed back and forth, msn groups, aim chat, random chat rooms, tumblr, discord, World of Warcraft, minecraft, DnD, you get the idea
Best Experience: to this day I still miss MSN groups. Just imagine if your discord server was a webpage that you could customize almost completely. That was the dream. I also met my husband in 2003 rping on a FF7 msn groups forum.
Female or Male: While playing the only girl character in a lot of guy focused groups kind of made me a romantic target even when I didn't want to be. So these days I tend to lean male and my girl characters usually always already have a relationship set up. (But damn if I don't ache for some lesbian romance)
Fluff, Angst, or Smut: I used to do everything, but as I got older and had more demanded on me I can only focus on a few things. While I think I am amazing as a smut writer, it just became too much of a chore and I wasn't enjoying it as much. So I no longer expect or offer smut. It may happen, and I usually try to skim past it as quickly as possible to get to the really good stuff. ANGST! mmMMM Delicious. That's what I want the most please. Hurt/Comfort is my bread and butter.
Plots or Memes: I'm gonna say, you can't get Plots without memes. I'm sorry. But you don't get that big scene idea unless you throw some far out crazy thing into the mix to spawn off of. If you use ceramics as an allegory- the meme is that raw ball of clay, and the plot is the bowl you can form out of it.
Long or Short Replies: I do prefer long but it depends on what we are going for. I will say that I am not making an effort if it's a single line. That can be a fun chat between us but I do not need to waste effort in a dialogue only back and forth.
Best time to write: I am interrupted and have to walk away constantly. I run the household and have a lot going on so my time is intermittent. Usually after I make dinner and finish everything at the end of the day I can focus on harder stuff. But I have currently flipped my schedule so my free time is in the mornings. So the real answer is 'Whenever I can pencil it in!'
Are you like your muse(s): Oh absolutely. Sadly I think I am the most like Smokes. There is a lot of interpretation going on there, but he is the most reflective of me. Archer I think would be if I was my Dad's first Male daughter (from the meme. Not dissing anyones gender here)
