🎶 - Top 5 favorite songs?
hmmmmmmmm… Not in any particular order, but:
Tzadik Katamar (a part of the torah service for shabbat mornings)
Greensleeves/What Child is This (Traditional)
We Are - Ana Johnsson
Famous Last Words - My Chemical Romance
Defying Gravity - Wicked
🍭 - Favorite Candy?
hhhhhh this question is difficult for me actually, someone asked me this recently and I pulled a total blank. Like…there’s a few things that I like but I shouldn’t eat very often cuz they’re either too rich or too sweet and they make my teeth hurt if I have too much in too close an amount of time or whatever? I think the only one that’s like, pretty consistent, like I go back to it every year an’ stuff, is candy corn >x>
Pumpkin pie, fallen leaves, oak
pumpkin pie: a favorite comfort food
With the exception of my mom and my grandmother making blintzes, most of my comfort foods come from my dad’s recipe books, several of which came from his mom.
But the one I always think of first, without fail, is what his cookbook called beef stroganoff (though I have since developed skepticism that it matches what other regions call a true stroganoff). It’s a sorta creamy, thick meat stew that we always served over rice (in the college cafeteria I was once given stroganoff over egg noodles and felt vaguely like I was being lied to about something).
It’s made with mostly brown sorta ingredients (beef broth, beef, onions allowed to go clear) but at the end you add sour cream and against all usual requirements of nature it turns it honest to god grey. I think I’m supposed to tell you it’s a ridiculously desaturated pale brown but I swear, it looks grey. Grey sauce with browned meat hiding in amongst it, all over white rice.
And it’s fuckin’ amazing.
fallen leaves: a scent that triggers a positive memory
Old books.
At first I went to college up in a little-ish school up in north-central Jersey on the red Dover line. There were buses that went into the suburbs but one of the best ways to get into the little college town that sat a little off the edge of campus was the train, about a half-mile’s walk along the outer wall and then maybe 5 minutes down the tracks. There was a big ol’ clock on top of a pole on main street and in the snow it was beautiful and silent.
Tucked in between a couple other shops on the main drag was this tiny, narrow little place. It didn’t look like much, with faded peeling stickers for logos. I forget if there was a bell on the door.
But inside… Inside was an absolute mountain of books old and new. Three aisles side by side, so narrow I had to turn to walk without knocking anything over. Stacks so tall they looked like they brushed the ceiling, towers of knowledge and escapism reaching up to the sky in tired sprawls.
The air was thick, not cloying, but just a little musty, as all proper used bookstores are, clouded with decades of history and thousands of hands from readers and sellers and buyers, of children tugging at covers and adults trailing fingers along spines as they looked for something or nothing in particular.
I wonder if it’s still there, that shop. I hope it is.
oak: something or someone that encourages strength in you
The way Alan ruffles my hair and says “You’ll be fine” like he knows something I don’t.The curl of fingers into my shirt when people hug me and grab on like I’m the only thing keeping them from drowning, and they need me to be okay when they can’t.The love, patience, and smiles of my friends, and of my family.
Jojo meme: 5, 6, 15, 16
5:Would you rather be a stand user or a master of the ripple?
Ripple all the way! Mostly for the breathing bits so I can improve my cardio game, lmao. Getting to kill vampires and immortals would be a fun side effect.
6:Would you be a antagonist or protagonist?
I’d be a very hapless protag haha
15:What’s character(s) is named after your favorite song(s)/band(s)?
Well, Araki has yet to name anyone after Springsteen as far I know, so Whitesnake and Killer Queen currently occupy this slot.
16:How would describe the series to someone who has never read it before?
British-Japanese family cursed to deal with classic rock, vampires and other bullshit till the end of time.

7. What’s your strangest talent?
my strangest talent… I can…slide-flip a card across a deck to turn all the cards over…??? that’s not really STRANGE though that’s just like, rare except among magicians and casino dealers I guess…17. What was the last lie you told?
“I’m okay.”
which sounds super melodramatic, and it’s…it’s not that it ISN’T, but I also tend to say that on reflex, whenever someone prompts for it.30. Stick your right arm out; what do you touch first? Do the same with your left arm.
right arm: one of the pillows on our sofaaaa
left arm: D&D book (and then alan but he’s a little more than arm’s length booooo)42. Do you like the smell of gasoline?
Actually kinda yeah… I could be all poetic and say that I like the smell because of what gasoline is (the currency to take me far away in my car) but honestly like… as much as I whine and moan a lot about having a super-sensitive nose, I classify very few smells as specifically bad or specifically good. My problem is usually strength– candles smell lovely, but push me down a candle aisle at a store and I will gag and cough just because of how thick and cloying it is. Gasoline is similar– I’d sure make lots of faces and choke on my breath if you shoved my face up to a gas canister, but if I’m filling up my tank, it’s not a bad smell to be around. *u*47. Do you have any obsessions right now?
*cough*definitelynotkingdomhearts*cough*

Hello! I was wondering if i could maybe commission a Roxy Lalonde scarf or would that be too difficult?
That’s actually incredibly simple! I can do a commission like that easily, or you can ask my darling bluucircles who’s taking commissions currently! Her work is incredibly clean, lovely draping, and I’d recommend hitting her up for all your cosplay commission needs! <3
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I am seriously wishing you all the happiness in the world. You are such a kind and positive person. You always make me smile and I love talking with you. All the best for you this year and many many more!
Thank you so much, Amanda! You are so sweet, and I absolutely adore talking with you as well!! :’)
