Beach — I’ll write a drabble of out characters at the beach together. Defend — I’ll write a drabble of my character protecting yours.

They had just arrived there, got their key to the cabin and headed out to the beach. And what a gorgeous beach it was. White, warm sand, the breeze of the sea, the sun rays hitting their skin, welcoming them, in behind them a bunch of trees and vegetation, making the warmth bearable and refreshing. 

Finding an open place close to the sea, but not too close in case of ebb and tide, they set out their stuff and put up the umbrella. Xai's skin still looked sun-kissed since it was his natural tint, yet during the period when the sun's intensity wasn't as great, Taemin's skin became paler and paler and he needed a bit of tint before he looked like a ghost. 

So after everything was set, Taemin tied his hair up and the taller just smiled at him. His hair had gotten really long and Taemin refused to cut i shorter than that.  "Hey, baby, did I ever tell you how nice your messy updo is?" Xai chuckled and got the sunscreen out of the bag and Taemin, seeing that, just laid down on the towel, waiting for the boy to cover his back so he wouldn't get sunburnt. "I think you've mentioned it every time I put my hair up." Taemin replied back with a chuckle and relaxed as soon as he felt the younger's big hands on his back. 

As Xai was putting sunblock on his skin, Taemin heard the voice of a young child speaking behind him. "Mommy, why is that girl wearing trunks and no bra?" It was a question to which Xai couldn't help but burst into laughter and it only made Taemin purse his lips together. "Because, son, he's a boy." Thank God for people with logic. The child however continued his series of questions. "But then why are two boys behaving like mommy and daddy?" Both the young adult's eyes popped open. Being gay in South Korea was not something viewed on nicely and if the parents would report them, they'd be in trouble. Taemin wanted to get up, he didn't want Xai to be in trouble. But the father simply looked at the two and smiled. "Because they are like mommy and daddy." The child looked up at his parents before a wide huge smile came on his lips. "Ah! They're in love like mommy and daddy, right?" Instead of looking at the two parents for an answer, the child looked at the two boys, whose features got soft and nodded with a smile. 

It was one incident that made the two sigh relieved before bursting out into laughter. In the past few years people had gotten accustomed to male's holding hands on the streets, most people unwilling to accept it, but they made no comments. However, acts of further intimacy and especially in a place with young children, still wasn't viewed in good lights. 

Once Taemin had his sunscreen on, he moved to sit behind Xai and rub his back with it. They couldn't allow themselves to get burned. Taemin slowly and gently rubbed in the lotion of the taller's broad back and arms before slipping his hands and resting them on the boy's chest. A quick peck on the side of his neck and Taemin announced he was finished. Well that before he scrunched his face at the taste of the sunblock and Xai started laughing at him. "Go on. Go swim." He nodded and pushed the younger up. "What about you? Aren't you coming?" Taemin shook his head no and said that he'll join the boy later. For now he was content with feeling the sun's rays kiss his body.

It was 15 minutes later that he got thirsty and wandered off to get himself and Xai ice cold beer cans. When he got back he searched to spot the taller boy and saw him surrounded by 3 guys. He stood still for a bit, trying to read the atmosphere and when he felt things weren't right, he walked over only to hear one of the boys making fun and insulting his boyfriend for the scars on his wrists and thighs. Seems that while he was swimming, his trunks got a bit too high and exposed the healed flesh. 

Angered beyond reason, Taemin approached slowly and tapped the one who had been verbally abusing his lover on the shoulder. As soon as the guy turned around a punch flew straight at his face and Taemin then got to stand next to Xai. "Who the fuck are you, little girl?" One of the other two guys asked and Taemin's eyes shot him daggers. It almost felt literally because of his piercing stare. "The question isn't who am I, but what the fuck is your problem?" The guy who had been punched took a stand again, trying to be as intimidating as he could before asking again. Question to which Taemin replied with a growl. "Your worst fucking nightmare. Ah... wait. I know you guys. I've beaten you all before. Remember that time you three and your head were in the hospital in a coma?" Taemin's grin was malicious and evil and all three boys shuddered. "Fuck! It's Taemin. The boss won't like it." The one who had first asked spoke again. "And neither will you like it when you will all be buried 6 feet under the ground. Maybe I should start digging your graves in the sand or feed you to the sharks to get rid of all evidence." 

As Taemin was explaining his plans, to the tiniest detail, torturous methods and and many other psychotic plans of murder, Xai tried to calm him down, patting him on the shoulder to tell him that he was okay and to let them go. After a few pleads he snarled at the 3 -now very frightened due to Taemin's sick imagination and vivid description- and they ran off. As soon as they were off Taemin turned towards Xai and cupped his cheeks. "Are you okay, baby? Sorry I wasn't here for you. My handsome and gorgeous boyfriend. Aish, those low lives. As soon as I'll get my hands on them back in Seoul they're dead meat." He chuckled and pecked the younger's lips for a brief second.

He had wanted to kiss the younger for a much longer time and just make him forget everything those idiots had said, but Taemin felt a soft tug on his swimming trunks and so he parted from the -wannabe- kiss and looked down. It was the child that had thought he was a girl and Taemin crouched down to be at the same level. "Erm, mister... this is for you and your handsome boyfriend." He said softly and handed Taemin a rather large seashell. It was beautifully patterned and had both sides on. "One side for you and one for him. So that you'll always be together and love each other. I gave one to my parents a few years ago and they're still together and in love so it will work for you too." 

At the words, Taemin's gaze went up at Xai who had a very gentle smile on his lips. Reaching out his hand he ruffled the kid's hair and thanked him for the gift, the taller thanking him as well. At the sound of Xai's voice the kid looked up and nodded before he heard his parents calling him so they could go back home and eat. "I hope that one day I'll become as handsome as you are, sir and find a girlfriend... or boyfriend, as pretty as you." He first looked up at Xai and then back at Taemin before running of, stopping to wave at the two before he reached his parents. 

Taemin got up and looked at the younger, chuckling happily and reaching to peck his cheek. "My handsome boyfriend." Action to which Xai replied by picking Taemin up bridal style "My pretty boyfriend that could make any girl jealous." And with a chuckle he placed a kiss on Taemin's forehead before dropping him into the water where the two of them started to swim and splash each other like little kids, simply enjoying the feeling of the splashes on their skin, the marine breeze on their bodies and the sun on their face. Simply enjoying each other's company.

Yeah, it's fine. I'm not that tired anyways since I've kinda been sleeping until late in the mornings. Plus, I'm used to staying up late anyways xD

Nah, it's fine. Problems exist and things happen. I understand, silly xD It's not as if I'll ever expect you to be here 24/7 or daily.

Taemin lives in a duplex apartment so his bedroom is basically the loft of the apartment. I have a link of the apartment here 

3:Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?

It can be called exercise, but he doesn't have an exact schedule. He does whatever whenever he wants to. It's mainly dancing, kung-fu and boxing/exercising punches and kicks

5:Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)

Taemin is as messy as can be without actually being messy. It means that he doesn't like things laying around thrown or out of their place, but he's also not a clean freak to clean his apartment daily. The vacuuming, dusting and mopping is done once a week. Otherwise, his apartment is pretty spotless. He absolutely hates the kitchen to be a mess, so that might be the most spotless and clean place in his apartment at any time of the day

7:Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time

He always wastes time. He doesn't have anything other to do than waste time. So he's usually with his gang. If he's at home it's movies/tv series

9:Makeup?

occasionally. He mostly wears foundation and concealer when he has bruises or injuries from a fight. Other than that, he applies a bit of eyeliner to make his eyes stand out when he wants to be sexy or when he goes out at a club or party and is looking to hook up. He also wears eyeliner if he's around a special someone, just because he wants to put a little effort to look good for the other. 

11:Intellectual pursuits?

He has finished college 3 years earlier due to the fact that when he was of age to go to school, he got 3 classes ahead thanks to his mother's home tutoring and his own pleasure and curiosity to discover more when he was a child. Triple major and a double minor -which he doesn't tell anyone about-

13:Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?

Bisexual. He finds that defining sexual orientation or putting a label on it is not necessary. You like who you like and are attracted to whom you're attracted to, regardless of what sex you are or the other person is. He doesn't care about such things.

15:Biggest and smallest short term goal?

He's never exactly made goals. Taemin is the type of person to go with the flow and do whatever makes him happy

17:Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress

He goes with casual. Whatever is fine as long as it fits him well and as long as he looks good in it. He won't deny the fact that at times he'd like to dress up fancy, in a suit and whatnot, but he also doesn't think it suits him all that well [lies and bullshit! he knows he looks damn fine in a suit with the right styling and attitude] as well as the fact that he doesn't exactly have the occasions necessary to wear a fancy suit. 

19:What do they think about before falling asleep at night?

It can be whatever. From gang problems, to his family, friends, love interest [both current and past] to what he'll do the following day, what he'll want to eat and whatnot

21:Turn-ons? Turn-offs?

If I were to list his turn-ons, they would be too many. If I were to list his turn-off, it would be too many and/or depend on the situation. If he likes something, he'll be sure to let the other know. If he dislikes something, he'll be sure to let the other know 

23:How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life?

It depends regarding what it is. If it's his daily schedule, he doesn't have one so he's disorganized. If it's cooking or how his clothes are placed in the closet, he's hella organized. His computer files are also very organized

25:How do they see themselves 5 years from today?

Working in the same company his dad is working -as the boss of the company- that's for sure. He also sees himself as a yakuza member of one of the biggest yakuza houses. 

27:What is their biggest regret?

Not fighting hard enough for someone

29:Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?)

Call 112 and 119... firstly 119 and then 112. Call his parents to announce them that he's gonna drop by due to his apartment being on fire and search for a new apartment. He's not going to exaggerate

31:Most prized possession?

His iPod. He's basically dead without music. His CD collection and DVD collection as well since he has some signed ones there

33:Concept of home and family?

Home = the place where you feel secure and comfortable

Family = the group of people with which you have a strong bond, be it blood related or not

35:What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time?

If he enjoys something, it's not a waste of time

37:Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making?

Depends on the situation. At times Taemin is analytic and rational, to the point he may seem cold, and at others he's impulsive and emotional.  

39:Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither?

Neither. He might act as if he's superior, but it's only an act. He doesn't think that way

41:Hobbies?

Dancing mostly

43:Religion?

Born a christian, finds religion non-important, useless, idiotic

45:Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?

Mostly through deeds. Taemin sucks at words.

47:How do they express love?

Wow, this is difficult. As said, Taemin sucks at words. So it's mostly through actions. Of course he gets cheesy at times, but mostly actions speak for him. 

49:Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?

No, he isn't. Everyone dies at some point. There is no need or reason to fear death. Life is what there is to fear.
