just finished bly manor finale for the like thirtieth time, and i need some happy dani and jamie so i’m working on something that i hope can continue into a multiple part series (motivation willing)

You know, you’d think it would have something to do with Dani and Jamie, but the scene that always has me circling the drain is the ending of episode 5 (Altar of the Dead), when Hannah decides that she wants to go to Paris with Owen but she can’t tell him because the moment has happened already (and she’s dead).

Watching Bly Manor with my dad and during the scene with Dani and Edmond breaking up in the car he literally started humming Weezer's Pink Triangle.
I’m rewatching Bly Manor and it’s just now clicking for me the similarities between Henry, Dominic, and Charlotte and Viola, Perdita, and the husband.
Two sisters, two brothers, both with some slight differences. Both elder siblings are the ones who are cheated on, and both elder siblings pass in part due to the actions of their younger sibling.
Now some people believe that Dominic had something to do with his and Charlotte’s death, perhaps to make another parallel to Viola and Perdita, but that quite frankly just seems like a reach and in my eyes he was only ever a victim in his situation.
