Bang! Bang! Bang!

Wanted to practice some rotoscope animation! I haven’t ever done a close up of someone’s face so I chose a short clip from the Michael in the Bathroom music video. It took me three hours to make. There are 36 frames (I think). I really am happy with the way it turned out! I might do an animated music video of Michael in the Bathroom (or an animatic, I think it’s called), but I’d have to get/create my own new footage for that.

Finally got around to drawing the talented Gerard Canonico as Rich Goranski! I've been riding the excitement from having seen the play to keep my creativity up!! The giant, floating squip is loosely based on Canonico's tattoo. There was a lot of empty space on the paper so why not, right? I had an amzing time seeing the show in New York and the entire cast was absolutely amazing!
