If Only You Knew...
They were the only friends I ever had We got into trouble and when stuff got bad I got sent away, I was waving on the train platform Crying 'cause I know I'm never comin' back. This is what makes us girls We all look for heaven and we put our love first Somethin' that we'd die for, it's our curse Don't cry about it, don't cry about it This is what makes us girls We don't stick together 'cause we put our love first Don't cry about him, don't cry about him It's all gonna happen
Evelyn sat in her room; doing her usual late night contimplation. Her mind ran over the thought of seeing a large amount of her old friends and classmates. While she did so, she wondered how much of a failure everyone must think she has become. Suck here in this tiny town with no real hope of escaping again. If anything, she probably should have gotten back into contact with Daphne, Piper, and Riley. It was the one thing the dark haired girl debated time and time again after arriving back in town. So much had happend, that she was sure, that the girls really didn't want anything to do with her anymore.
She rolled over onto her side and stared at the wall. Maybe soon, since they were all under one roof for the time being, she'd chat with them and see where all of them stood. Evelyn went over it in her head: Daphne was the one she'd have to suck up to the most. The other two probably wouldn't be so hard to try to get back in touch with. However, she remembered the look in all of the girls eyes when she left for New York. No one was really sure as to why she left as quickly as she did. But, Evelyn couldn't stick around to see any of the aftermath that came with what she'd done. Perhaps that was the reason, maybe none of the girls knew that it was her that had ruined everything. She had tried her damnedest to stay away from York, but, obviously, she was pulled back into the small town drama and stayed off the radar.
Flashes of the group of girls ditching school, in classes together, causing mayhem where ever they went caused her to be filled with nostalgia. She barely had any friends here anymore, and while she didn't want to really be close to people, having some friends to goof off with, would be completely welcomed. She rolled her eyes, deciding that in the morning she'd talk to at least one of the girls to rekindle their friendship. However, she didn't get her hopes up. There was no real reason for any of them to even try talking to her again. Not to mention, how much the either hate her, or would hate her depending on if they knew what she had done to their group.
