The maids of Belvedere always seem to go unnoticed by the guests, and other staff members of the manor. But, because of this, they know everything about everybody and they always have a secret or two to share...
“People are all over the world telling their one dramatic story and how their life has turned into getting over this one event. Now their lives are more about the past than their future.”
For this second prompt, your character will remember back to a time in their life - to an event, a moment or a time in their past that they wished to forget - that they'd wish would've up differently - it will be their 'if only' moment. Explore their relationships, their pain, their fears and their regrets. What relationships did they wish would've been forever? What friendships do they wish wouldn't have ended? What particular moment in their life do they wish would've turned out differently?
The idea is that I will post one prompt each week, in order to give you some ideas to boost character development, and to get those creative juices flowing. Participating in this prompt is mandatory - it will serve as an activity check. Please have this prompt finished within 24 - 48 hours of posting.

The year is 1926. With the passing of prohibition and organized crime on the rise, The Midnight Club, a swanky speakeasy run by Rosie Marie, has been nothing but jumping. To celebrate its success, Rosie planned a party to remember at the exclusive nightspot… and you all are invited! However, one of the names on the guest list is also on another’s hit list… and no one is safe from the consequences.
With Murder on the menu, you are certain to find a medley of individuals to make the night most memorable. From the major mobsters and their molls, to the swanky singer with her hopes at Hollywood. The cigarette girl with a temper that sizzles, to the crooked police chief with nothing to lose— no one is safe from murder…but everyone will have a chance at solving it.
Will the culprit be the Mayor who is capable of murder? The blacklisted bootlegger desperate to increase their sales? Or possibly the director with a shot at making history? With the recipe for murder, The Midnight Club will be certain to be serving up a night of mayhem to remember.
* Please stay in character, for you are no longer who were when you walked in. Follow the streamers towards the bar and let's begin our little game, shall we?
Good evening, and welcome to Belvedere Manor: Murder Mystery Hotel Experience.
I am the your honored host to this bewitching hour, Billie Dee. Yes, just Billie Dee; nothing more and nothing less. Our journey will begin shortly and I assure you…it will be to die for.
But first, let me guide you through your experience.
Upon your arrival, you’ve received two large envelope. In these envelopes are your character kits, action cards and your characters objectives. So slice into your envelopes to discover who you are. Please pin your name tags from envelope A onto the right side of your chest and please read your character’s objectives for the beginning of the party, as well as some money for bribery and what not.
In your second envelope, please do not open it yet, but in there you will find your characters second objection for after the murder and a who done it voting sheet, as well as some exhibits in select characters envelopes. In the first envelopes is your character description, this is merely a guideline to follow and you will have the honored duty of bringing your character to life.
This years Murder Mystery is Hollywood inspired by the ravishing era of the 1920’s. As you can see, this hotel has transformed into the corrupt, but very popular speakeasy known as The Midnight Club. The beginning of the night will begin in the bar; and I must say you all look ravishing in your costumes.
Please note that there are only six floors to this lovely estate and each floor consists of only six rooms all with lavish furnishing and accommodating features for our guests. Please be aware that the 5th and 6th floor, as well as the attic above you is off limits, as well as the basement below you. We are in the process of remodeling those areas for future guests, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Now, let us begin...

* RULES TO FOLLOW:
DO NOT POST A PARA/GIF CONVO UNTIL YOU SEE A POST FROM THE HOST ON THIS SIDE BLOG.
Unlike event paras, your character is allowed to be alone/away from other people during the para, meaning that his/her actions may not necessarily be seen or heard by others.
All paras will be in 'real time'. This means that your character cannot be in two places at once. It also means that everything your character does can be seen and heard by other characters.
All characters are expected to post an open starter para and since paras cannot overlap, it is important to make sure only one person replies to the starter para. For example, if A posts a starter para about spilling food on her clothes and B posts a reply para helping her get changed into new clothes,C cannot reblog A's starter para to help her get changed into new clothes because B has already done so.
To make sure such overlapping does not occur, a character who would like to reply to a particular starter must reblog the post immediately and add "OOC: I am going to reply this" so that everyone knows that the para has been reserved.
“You spend your whole life stuck in the labyrinth, thinking about how you'll escape one day, and how awesome it will be, and imagining that future keeps you going, but you never do it. You just use the future to escape the present.”
The present & the future are nonexistent to you at this point in your life, because all you are experiencing is the past. The memories of 'what was' haunts you yet again, as you explore the 'why' & the 'how'. You are no longer the age you are, you no longer feel the way you do & you no longer believe the way you do. But, you have been transported to a time that you once regretted, to a time you once promised yourself you would never revisit & to a time you hid, so far in the black abyss of your mind, you never wished to revisit...
The idea is that I will post one prompt each week, in order to give you some ideas to boost character development, and to get those creative juices flowing. Participating is completely optional, but hopefully all of you will consider this an interesting challenge you are willing at least try to complete.
For this first prompt, your character will travel back in time to an event, a moment or a time in their past that they wished to forget. Explore their hardships, their pain, their fears and their regrets. What hardships bombarded them? Who did they love, they hate or want back in the day? What fears and dreams corrupted their lives?
I would love to see what you come with, so please tag your para with #bmprompt1. You can write this prompt in any way, shape or form you want. And please remember to have fun & good luck!
Here at The Belvedere, we would like to formally invite the guests of the Wyatt Wedding to join us for Dinner in the parlor on the 1st floor. By the end of the night, we hope that you all will be ready to begin our first night of the Murder Mystery Experience tomorrow.
At this time, we'd like to ask if all staff members can please prepare everything for the guests and then join them in the parlor. And we'd like to ask the guests if they can please adorn their best formal attire and join us promptly at five o'clock for your dinner.
Event Name Tag: #bmdinnerparty
Event Date: Mar. 31, 5pm PST
Where: 1st Floor Parlor @ Belvedere
Description: This dinner party is so everyone (guests & actors involved with the Experience) can get better acquainted with one another before the actually start. On a table, there are blank name tags with permanent markers. Each character needs to fill one out with their real name and place it on their chest where it is visible.
During an event, this is how we will be para-ing:
All paras will be in 'real time'. This means that your character cannot be in two places at once. It also means that everything your character does can be seen and heard by other characters.
