So! Maggie, Carla, MacKenzie and I showed up at Black Milk HQ at 3am for the sample sale on Sunday. I hadn't slept at all thinking it would be easier to stay up and It was pretty stupid of me so next time (because there will be a next time) I'll sleep! Some sharkies had been there since 7pm the day before, it was so crazy the line went for ages and ages! Some girl told me she and her friends drove from NSW just to be there. Luckily we were in the second group of 100 so we only had to wait 20 minutes after the first group and then we had 20 minutes to get in and get what we wanted. It was amazing how lovely everyone was! I thought it would be like Black Friday sales where everyone is rude as hell and violent but all the sharkies were so lovely and kind and apologetic. One girl hit me on accident flinging away a pair of leggings and she was immediately shouting out apologies and asking if I was okay. Another girl was moaning about burned velvet and a bunch of sharkies were like "I saw some here!!" And would toss the items towards her. Everyone was so lovely and I walked away with 4 pieces for $100. I got an Amethyst vs Aurora Skye inside-out-dress (which can be worn both ways so it's like two dresses!) for $40, a reversible Strawberry Skater dress ($40) for my friend Emerald, and two pairs of Cloud scalloped shorties ($10 each), one for her and one for me. The cloud print is one of my favorites and I thought I grabbed the skirt and I was disappointed when I paid and found out I grabbed the shorts but I love them so much they look so good! The shorts were apparently supposed to be $40 each but the cashier lady said she could do them for $10 each for me! Everyone was so so lovely and I got $360 worth of clothes for $100. 10/10 would totally do it again!
