A fusion of indie and alternative rock influences, Status Unknown deliver their follow up EP, 'Population 1'.

A more refined sound to their 2013 debut, 'Lower Class Pursuits', 'Population 1' opens with the hard hitting 'Tuning Out'. Inspired by the need to switch off from outside influences, the lyrics could have written themselves owing to the ever changing state of society.

The versatility of Population 1 is evident with the poppy sounds of 'Ain't Life Sweet' and the darker tones of 'Traffic Lights' and 'Catching The Sun'.

The EP closes with 'Run', a song that digs a little deeper. With a more stripped back approach, Status Unknown will leave you wanting more.
