EDIT: I colored some red as they’re headcanons I don’t really have anymore but I don’t feel like redoing this post, my mind changes so fast it’s stupid…
Since random headcanons won for that poll I did… here we go! I’ve decided to do headcanons for Hiryu first and decided that myself, as I was thinking about him so… why not?
For other parts to this series (I suppose) the character will be random and decided by a wheel or something similar ^^
OR… if people want to suggest a specific character (ദ്ദി˙ᗜ˙)
So here we go!…
Hiryu Rin Headcanons…
Hiryu is AroAce and Gay! Although he is AroAce, he’d be willing to enter a relationship as long as he does genuinely end up desiring one, though he still heavily dislikes too much physical intimacy. He doesn’t mind cuddling and holding hands, but he isn’t too big on kissing (he will allow kissing on the cheek, forehead, or back of hand, anything other than those few spots will make him uncomfortable)
He’s TERRIFIED of any sort of bug or insect, he will refuse to go near one even if it’s dead. The only sort of bug/insect he’s okay with is butterflies… as long as they aren’t near him.
[Minor context to understand this one: my version of him has horns] Due to his quirk, he experiences a molt, where basically his whole body sheds and it makes his scales sharper and stronger (also possibly darkening in color), causes his horns to grow a bit, and—depending on which molt it is—causes him to sprout a tail (usually it starts out short but grows to full length within 2-3 weeks, causes back pains though)
Hiryu’s favorite pro hero is Ryukyu, and he even interns with her after the Sports Festival (as she did send him an offer). She’s sort of like an auntie figure to him. (His like for her is like Izuku with All Might)
He has a younger sister (she actually has the same quirk as him, just a weaker version due to her not training it), and Setsuna reminds him a lot of his little sister.
He looks almost exactly like his dad, but his personality is very similar to his mom (bonus: he is a daddy’s boy)
He hisses at people when startled or angry or even just annoyed. It mostly started as a silly thing he did as a kid to be more like a dragon, but it became a habit he’s been unable to break.
His tongue is forked, almost like a snake’s but more like a dragon…? Though, he is able to flick it out to smell like snake’s do.
He gets zoomies. He can be calm like usual one minute, then the next be basically bouncing off the walls.
Like Tsuyu, he will go into hibernation if it’s cold enough. (This is relatively canon, but it’s more said the cold makes him weak rather than wanting to hibernate, but I headcanon that he will go into hibernation if it’s super duper cold).
(Bit of an angsty one) He has severe attachment issues and is constantly afraid people will abandon him, causing him to panic if someone even says something that sounds like they’re angry with him. Mostly started after he lost someone he was super close to (a best friend who was the first friend he made in Japan. The friend had passed away due to a heart condition, and Hiryu’s mind made him feel as if he was abandoned).
He’s like the mom friend, so much so Kosei, Setsuna, and Manga jokingly call him “Mama Rin”.
Actually really good at art and enjoys sketching, sometimes painting. His style is more realism, but he’s always drawing fantasy creatures or animals (he isn’t too good at people)
He reads BL mangas (and even watches a lot of BL animes). Why? He just likes them! But he refuses to read/watch anything inappropriate, he hates those kinds, he loves the sappy, cute stuff.
Sometimes when he sleeps, he curls into a ball, sort of like how a cat does (bonus: when he has a tail, he curls his tail around his body).
Much like actual dragons, he can get VERY greedy. If he grows to like something, he will hold onto it and will get mad if someone tries touching it. He has a couple boxes full of random stuff he guards with his life. He also does get attached to shiny objects jewelry and crystals (has gotten into Reiko’s crystal collection and stolen Sen, Shihai, and Reiko’s silvery accessories on multiple occasions, he also gets distracted when Tetsutetsu activates his quirk—it’s hard for them to train near each other)
Has a venomous bite, as in if he bites someone, he can inject them with venom. He almost never does this though considering the venom is a bit deadly, though it is rather easy to treat, but he still avoids using it just in case.
Well… I believe this is all, or at least all of the ones I feel like sharing…! Don’t make fun of me, I will cry (joke). Of course some of these may change, my headcanons are always changing!
Anywho… I’ll do more for a different character later, I’ll probably use a wheel unless people ask for a specific character!
