Just to be clear, im kinda a more casual fan/havent really watched all of the series but i remeber this ep. Loved seeing their dorms💖

decided to play around with Uraraka’s dorm room & give it a bit of a redecoration. Don’t get me wrong, I def get why it looks the way it does given her family’s financial situation so she couldn’t exactly afford to decorate her place as much as the rest of her class could but at the same time, our top main heroine/ #1 space girl deserves a her own space that shows off who she is. I tried my best to decorate it within her interests but also her situation.

Added more space theme stuff for our gravity superhero gal who loves starry skies. 🌌 for her bedsheet I took inspo from Usagi’s bed from Sailor Moon. On the wall there’s glow in the dark stars/moons/planets 🪐🌟🌙

Speaking of space, gave her some Superhero Thirteen merch! A poster, plushy & even a 13 theme snow globe! She was her mentor during the mentor arc so it makes sense she’d look up to her. Plus it’d be a great way to connect her with Midoriya with his love for All Might, both having their own respective heroes/mentors they look up to 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️👨‍🚀

Added some exercise/weight stuff such as kettlebells, an exercise mat & a medicine ball along with a first aid kit🏋️‍♀️⛑️🩹 I read she does weightlifting for her training aswell as something she likes doing. I imagine she’d get some personal gear for herself to be prepared/stay in shape, especially for her superhero ambitions.

The med kit, it’s good to be prepared, especially for injuries.

I like to imagine she’d gotten atleast some kind of certification for her accomplishments during the sports festival & being in the top 16. Even if it wasn’t first or 2nd place, It was still a big moment for her, she deserves a lil something to show that!🏆

Added more photos on her wall side. They’re meant to be stuff with her classmates, Midoriya & one of them during a starry night 🌌

Added more color. I imagine pinks her fav or atleast one of her top favs given how much she wears it.

Changed her plant from a cactus to a more leafy thing & placed it on her table🪴

If she had the extra cash, I could see her want a galaxy projector light & ABSOLUTELY her own telescope 🔭

Aaaand Hotaka's dorm! He doesn't spend much time sleeping, so he mostly has forms of entertainment in his room. And a minifridge of snacks and caffeine to get him through the nights.

Hello Students and Happy Spring!

Spring is the time for tidying up and re-decorating so what better time to decorate your dorms!

We will be providing a transparent PNG and a psd Lineart that you can download and draw over with the base furniture of your room!

(Psd’s can be opened up in Sai for all Sai users!)

The goal of this event is to make a room based on your students tastes that truly shows their character!

Is your character messy, extremely tidy?

Do they plaster their wall in posters of their favorite idols or pro-hero’s?

Perhaps they have an aesthetic, plants, lights or rugs they have brought from home in order to make themselves feel less homesick.

Instruments, game systems, laptops, pictures of family or friends back home, make-up, or other evidence of hobbies are all things to think about when setting up your students room.

If you are having trouble, think about what is important to your character.

For added flare, draw your character in the room! Perhaps its early morning and they are getting ready for homeroom, or perhaps it's late and they are hanging out with friends before the call for lights out.

Prize:

This is an open-ended challenge, meaning there is no due date for your piece, as this is meant to be a fun character exercise, HOWEVER, Entries received before May 11th have the chance to win 300 amino coins (if you are an Amino user) and their Dorm/character featured on the MHVA Wiki as one of the examples~

For your entry to count use the tag #MHVAdormchallenge for your entry to be counted. 

By May 11, I will collect all entries on tumblr and amino and feature them in one big post!

Feel free to zoom in a little as needed, I actually lost the second lineart here and has to completely redraw (hence the re-used assets :’) ) But I also forgot the hooks by the door for hanging uniform jackets and hats. So feel free to add special ones for your characters~
