Hi; who are the BNOCs?
http://thetab.com/uk/cambridge/2017/02/07/vote-now-cambridges-top-100-bnocs-88336
what are the BNOCs known for? can you give any examples? im so curious about this
LOL so BNOCs are known for like, a load of different things. I think last year the #1 BNOC was the Union president -- generally people tend to know members of the Union committee. The CUSU president is always on there, as are people who are really involved in some of the CUSU campaigns (particularly women’s and BME because those tend to be the most active). JCR presidents also feature, as do people who are popular at the ADC!
Is being a BNOC important in terms of rep etc - i know some of them are apparently Oliver Mosely, Charlotte Ivers, Alan Hennessy, Jack Lewy haha
I don’t really know what you’re asking. Being a BNOC isn’t crucial to your later success in life -- in fact, most of the people who do become successful aren’t necessarily BNOCs. Being a BNOC is more representative of whether or not you hold a big position in a big society (the Union) than anything else.
