Boat Sword in-potentia evidently doubles as a kitty fort.

Beginning the long process of cutting out all the papercraft pieces for Boat Sword. Each is spray mounted onto single-ply chipboard. It'll probably take a good week to cut out all the pieces. Blech.

Boat sword all printed. Next step is spray-mounting to chip board and cutting out pieces.

Figuring out the scale for Boat Sword. I either mathed wrong, or the original model is not a true 400:1 scale. Back to Photoshop, we're about 4 inches short of where it should be!

Hikawa Maru - Papercraft ocean liner

Am considering making some fun props for photo opps @ Shatterdome Atlanta. Upscaled and made from fiberglassed chipboard, this could make a good boat sword...

yeah but then you’d get like a really cool magical water hand.

but first I'd have to go through the harpoon hand stage and I'm just not sure if I have any shoes that would coordinate with that
