i find it interesting that in the promotional material (where they're in the inflatable pool) for season 1, bob's hair is a lot shorter than what it actually is in the show.

it seemed like he was going to have more of an impact on the series since he is in most of season 1 and hes on the reversible cover for that season's dvd (or at least my version of the dvd). like he was meant to have a role like the weird family friend that isn't actually related to anyone but is still treated like one of them. sad we never really got to see this and he just faded away into the background like so many other side characters from the middle.
