Honestly, I would love if 911 stuck with the ‘almost’ relapse for Bobbie, and continued that plot for the rest of the show. I would love for a show to go with ‘every day can be a struggle’ rather than one big relapse, showing how a recovering addict will always be tempted but doesn’t necessarily always relapse in hard times. I feel like its a less common ‘trope’ and healthier way to show a recovering alcoholic. Show how the recovery is slopes and drops and some little highs, but never steady, and you are forever a recovering alcoholic, never former.
