I have no idea when it happened, but somewhere along the way I became the luckiest woman on earth. A special person dropped this fantastic #sewingmachine off at @hacklab.to for me because they knew I’d love it the way it should be loved. This incredible #singersewingmachine was built in #Newfoundland #circa 1924-1931 and is in perfect working condition, though a rubber wheel on the #bobbinwinder is crumbling as is the #wiring. Such a small thing, because she sees beautifully. When I was a kid, my father had a gorgeous 1960s #Singer that he used to sew duffle bags for my sisters and me. It makes me feel like pops is still up there watching over me and hooking me up with support and prezzies to help me now that I’ve finally cleaned my life up and straightened out my path.
