im curious, have you ever read the splatoon manga? (or corioka, as most call it) cus i think it wouod be cool to see the character in your style!!/vpos/lh, not trying to force tho : D

I have actually, but not a lot of it 😅 I believe I have the first two coroika books plus the first Splatlands book. Also I have the first three Squid Kids Comedy Show books and I actually think they're pretty fun to read! I get why other people don't agree but I like seeing more of daily life in the Splatoon world rather than just battling.

I'm not super obsessed with Coroika, but I do enjoy it and I get why other people love it so much! I really like the characters that make up the enemy teams who don't get much focus, they just seem like perfect blank slates to get obsessed with lol

I really should draw some Coroika characters soon! I've thought about it but then always forgot 🥲 but yeah I'd like to see them in my style too!! I'd probably draw Bobble Hat first, I love her joy and whimsy <3
