I figured it was finally time I did an intro post, so here we go!

Hi! I'm Just Your Average Alternan Fuzzball, but you can call me Alternan Fuzzball/Fuzzie/Fuzz for short!

I primarily post about Splatoon, specifically Deep Cut, Agent 4 and the Octarians!

My main ships are Shiver X Frye and Pearl X Callie (though I am a multishipper so expect some Pearlina, Calpearlina and Calpearlinacht too)! Check out everything I post about them by using #shivrye and #pop queens!

44 days until Raiders is released! Here's the charm that attaches to your ink tank if you choose Big Man to tag along with you! I think it's cool how they modelled them after Deep Cut's masks :D

45 days until Raiders comes out! Here's a look at some of the new power eggs - the three in one egg looks the most interesting to me... I bet most of the Salmonids that would be Boss Salmonids in Salmon Run will drop these instead of golden eggs!

Yeah this is a pretty simple doodle today but yesterday's was super detailed so 😭

46 days until Splatoon Raiders is released! WOW. This rendering practice got a bit out of hand lol. This is literally the nicest looking rendering I've ever done

Genuinely- this is more or less exactly how I wanted my art to look when I started drawing just 2 and a half years ago. I'm so happy to have achieved and even surpassed some of my goals already :3

But also, as a quick disclaimer, most of my drawings aren't gonna be rendered this way, especially for the rest of the countdown, cuz it takes way too long 😅 I'm gonna try and keep countdown drawings nice and simple so I can put more effort into the final piece!

47 days until Raiders comes out! Just Shiver and Clementine fishing together 🐠🐟🎣

Clementine grew up in the rough desert of the Splatlands, so fishing is something she'd never done before Shiver showed her how to do it. Now he really values it as a relaxing pastime <3

48 days until Raiders comes out! Something slightly different today - I drew Toad in Tomodatchi Life: Living the Dream! I'm really proud of how she turned out :3

Yes this does mean she's counted as a pet in the game, which I obviously disagree with as Salmonids are indeed actual people, but I just didn't trust myself to make a Toad Mii that actually looked good lol. Plus Toad doesn't really hang out with anyone other than Clementine and Deep Cut so it would also be weird to see her interacting with other Miis

Also this is so Raiders-accurate lol (and the Mii in the chicken costume on the boat is Big Man which makes it even better)

50 DAYS UNTIL SPLATOON RAIDERS IS RELEASED!!! This is the first big milestone in my eyes 🥳

If you're wondering why Shelly and Donny are here, it's because way back in this post I predicted that they'll appear in the game! I mean, Sheldon's presence is felt over the whole franchise, so it would be weird to give him protégés and not make much use of them...

This tough customer is Octo Samurai. He brandishes a gigantic roller, using it to dash the hopes of all those who dare approach. He’s got no time or patience for anyone who fakes the funk, and word has it that he is worshipped as a big bad boss by the Octarian rank-and-file troops. He enjoys working on his motorcycle in his spare time. On closer examination, it should be noted that he actually looks more like a sumo wrestler than a samurai, which is a little weird.

(It’s the Legoland guy again)

So glad to know there’s another person who loves Legoland on here. I’m specifically very interested in Legoland Windsor (as it is the one that I go to a lot) and I also spend probably too much time listening to the soundtracks. (There’s also a specific entrance soundtrack which I cannot find anywhere but it was remixed into the old Dragon soundtrack so… I know it exists…)

I try to collect as many maps as I can whenever I go, I don’t have a collection going very far back because the oldest one I have is from when I was about 4.

Anyway you’re really cool and Legoland is amazing

Yesss it's great to know there's another Legoland Windsor obsessed-person out there!! It feels like a very niche interest sometimes lol

I know what you mean about the soundtracks, I have a Legoland playlist on YouTube (which is mostly soundtracks alongside old adverts and vlogs) which is 101 videos long I think 😅 my favourites would probably have to be the Fairytale Brook soundtrack, the Pirate Falls queueline soundtrack, the Lego City soundtrack, the Hotel Boardwalk soundtrack and the Mythica soundtrack!!! (They're all soooo good tho aaaaaguiigfct)

Speaking of Mythica, I LOVE IT SOOO MUCH, from the actual area and the soundtrack to the world building and characters!! The vibes are just immaculate, and Flight of the Sky Lion might be my favourite ride overall! I have a Mythica themed lanyard with all of the pop badges on it, and I plan to get more merch at my next visit. I even actually build my own Mythica creatures like they want you to lol. Oh and I also have the exclusive Mythica set!

Back to soundtracks, I agree that it can be so annoying not being able to find certain ones. I remember finding out that an old Fairytale Brook soundtrack could only be heard in the background of a Legoland DVD for like 10 seconds 😭

Also, the maps are so cool as well! I have the 2019 Monster Party opening one which is on my wall above my bed, plus the 2022 Magical Forest opening one and the 2024 Minifigure Speedway opening one. I love getting new ones but nowadays they don't usually put them in plain sight at the entrance so you have to hunt them down elsewhere :(

This is different to my norm, but I wanted to draw something for @heropartnerweek! I finished playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Mystery Team recently (after starting it like 7 years ago lol), and it's definitely my favourite Pokémon game, so I wanted to draw my team for it!! :)

There's Cubone, who could be considered my Poké-sona, who heads the Pokésavers and wants to ensure that all errands are completed on time, as seen here. She's not all grumpy tho, and doesn't mind the rest of the crew having fun at the same time!

Her partner, Polly the Cyndaquil, is busy telling Ziggy the Zigzagoon about some of the adventures he missed, as he's a relatively new recruit, and Coolio the Absol (blame younger me for the names 😭) watches on curiously.

I really enjoyed drawing these guys!! I'm currently playing through Explorers of Sky, so next year I might chip in again with a drawing of the Pokéscouts :3
