Hey there, so I'm getting my first bjd (sO EXCITED EUFFNDSFUuhfwheih) and i've decided on getting a bobobie mei. I've heard a lot of good things about bobobie, but i've also heard that the dolls come very loosely strung. What's your opinion?

I have 4 Resinsouls (Bobobies sister company) and yes, they do come very loose. However it's not the looseness that's the problem, it's the fact that their elastic is too thin, and really poor quality. My MSD boys for example, came strung with YoSD size elastic. I just restrung them as soon as I could with thicker elastic. It also helps to suede them. BBB/RS resin is quite smooth which makes their joints very slippery.

I'm getting a Isabella 27cm bobobie... her head if size 5-6... I can't find any wigs I like in that size though :( How would a size 6-7 look on her? Would it look silly?

A 6-7 is probably going to be huge on her. I had the same conundrum with a doll recently. He was a 7-8 and I wondered if i could put a 8-9 wig on him...in short it was huge on him. What style were you looking for? Perhaps I can help track down some options for you?

Do you know if there are other doll companies that have hands that work well with 60cm BBBs? I need hands with more expression.

hmmm...a difficult one. I'm assuming you're looking for NS hands? if so then that's going to make your life difficult because BBB (or RS) normal is a funny colour that doesn't match much. they also have quite small hands and narrow wrists for their size (I have two of the 70cm RS dolls and my Delf's hands fit their wrists nicely. The resin match is horrid though unfortunately). Also keep in mind Resinsoul is happy to sell parts separate (just email them, Sun is really helpful) so they might have differently shaped hands on another doll that you can buy.

If you narrow down a pair of hands you think might work you can always ask an owner for measurements. Most people are happy to help.
