Please answer this ASAP, its important :( is it safe to pour melted candle on a doll? A white candle ofcourse, so color wont bleed on the resin. I was just worried it might leave a waxy residue after removal. Thank you so much
If in doubt don’t do it. I wouldn’t be willing to risk it. Resin can deform with heat and I would also be concerned about the resin absorbing oils from the wax and getting stained that way.

It really depends what body and head you’re looking at and without knowing that i can’t really help. I do have both a Doll Chateau Y03 body (modded to a boy) and a Migidoll Miho head that i can take a picture of if that’s something you’d be interested in.

I love zaol dolls, but I don't like how their size is not common (won't be easy to find clothes for them) so do you think a zaol head would fit on mad bodies ?
I’m assuming you meant MSD bodies. Unfortunately a Zaoll head will be too large for an MSD body but they do fit some SD bodies. Zaoll’s do fit some SD things but long sleeves and pants will be too long.

I'm considering buying the Supia Juah, but I'm unsure what the normal resin looks like. In picture of the Supia Haeun or Hamin, the resin looks a bit yellow but the juah pictures looks a bit pink? Are they using different resin to make each supia doll even though their all normal?
The apparent colour difference is just because of lighting in those pictures. Supia resin is slightly pinkish. However resins do vary from batch to batch so sometimes batches are slightly different.

Do you know any bjd companies that sell pear shape body for girls.
Leekeworld, Dollzone, some Doll Chateau, Nobledolls, Cerisedolls and Dust of Dolls all make pear shaped dolls. Not all of them have the bodies available separately though.

hi there! i was wondering if it was safe to use india ink for face ups? it doesn't quite work like the ink you'd find in pens/markers and I've never been able to find any info on whether or not it's safe for dolls
I would not put any ink on a BJD. The chance of staining is far too high.

I just got my first bjd the other day, (yay!) and her left arm doesn't stay straight, it is always bent at the elbow. To me, this sounds like her arm is too tightly strung, but I am am amateur haha... in order to fix this would I have to restring her arm? If I do, how do I go about that? Thank you ^.^
It may be a matter of tight stringing, you can always pull on her hand and see if there’s stretch to the elastic. If not then she’s probably too tight. If you want it fixed right now then you can unstring her but if she’s very tight this might be really difficult. If not then you can just leave it and her elastic will loosen over time.

Unfortunately the Luts event heads aren’t worth more, they are usually sold for around $50-70 in brand new condition.

what is the difference between a feeple60 moe basic and a feeple 60 a la carte?
The bodies are different. A Moe basic will come on the Feeple 60 Moe body and the A La Carte will come on the standard Feeple 60 body. The Moe body is shorter, has a very different shaped torso and only one torso joint. The standard Feeple 60 is taller and has two torso joints.

Hello! Recently I fell in love with a Spiritdoll head, but it's from the male Proud body line [70cm dolls]. I was wondering if those heads could match any smaller dolls, up to 65cm ones? Sorry for the specific hybrid question and thank you!
Theoretically a Spiritdoll head should fit a whole heap of SD bodies since the Proud neck size is fairly standard. Sadly reliable Spiritdoll matches are difficult to come across.

If I wanted to mod a Doll chateau K12 boy body to have a girl body's chest piece, which measurement would I use to pick a piece that would fit the closest? Waist circumference or chest circumference? Also, if you already know a sculpt that fits easily onto the K12 body, or a How-To sort of thing on body modding, that would be immensely helpful. Thanks for reading all our asks and posting answers. Unfortunately I’m a little confused by your question. Most people who mod bodies sculpt the breasts on top of the existing chest piece but it sounds like you want to swap the chest piece out, which will be very hard. You’d have to probably buy two dolls to get a female chest piece and then there is no guarantee it would fit.
As for sculpts that fit on Doll Chateau necks, Doll Chateau have very thin necks and this can make hybrids difficult if you want to avoid neck gap. If you’re not so concerned about the gappy neck then most smaller MSD heads should look ok.

Hello! I'm new to the BJD hobby and I am ordering a Mirai Suenaga Smart Doll. I absolutely love the way she looks. But I was wondering if anyone know if clothes from say the Barbie section would fit. Or really any doll clothes you could buy at a store. I work at a Target and would be easier if I could just pick up a few outfits on my way home than having to wait on the internet. Not saying I won't, just saying it's more convenient. Also what size doll would fit into these said clothes
Unfortunately playline dolls are much smaller or differently proportioned to Mirai. Barbie clothes won’t even go close considering Mirai is double the height of a barbie. 18 inch clothes will be proportioned wrong, both too short and too wide. You’re much better off buying online.

I recently just found out about BJDs and i fell in love with the celine and mirwin sculpts by fairyland. i plan to get a job this summer so i can buy a BJD. i really like the two sculpts and i can't decide which one to buy. i feel like i should just buy both of the dolls though i don't know if i should because the dolls are around $400 each! i have never really been into dolls before and now i'm in love with these sculpts. do you think i should buy them both or should i just purchase 1 to begin?
If you’re uncertain then just get one to start. Mirwen and Celine aren’t going anywhere so you can always get the other later.

i am going to get my first bjd soon and i don't know what i should get a feeple60 or minifee both by fairyland. The minifee is around 44cm while the feeple is 55cm. What size do you think i should get. Which one is better in your opinion?
It depends on the person. I like SD (60cm) dolls better but that’s my personal preference. If you’re worried about cost, the Minifee is less of an outlay and minifee clothes are easy to find, but if cost is not a problem then go for what you like best.

Unfortunately Iplehouse hybrids are quite rare and there’s very little information on them. They also have wide necks which makes hybrids hard.
