Rare never before seen backstage photos of THE WHO at Union Catholic High School, Scotch Plains, NJ, USA on November 29, 1967
Photos were sent to 'When Stars Were in Reach" author Michael Rosenbloom from Todd McCartney, whose late mother Joan McCartney snapped when she was a staff writer for the Union College newspaper. Just 6 months prior Joan had graduated Union Catholic High School, and now here she was back to her old high school, as Michael Rosenbloom explains on his fb page: "Joan obtained press credentials to cover the Who concert for the paper. Imagine what a charge she must have felt visiting her alma mater several months after graduating, with press credentials and a backstage pass to boot. Picture Joan triumphantly returning to Union Catholic, meeting old teachers, former schoolmates and then going backstage to meet The Who."
