Same. But the way I’ve seen it written is always with the idea that the speaker isn’t aware they’re speaking in Spanish or English or whatever language. We’re aware of when we switch. Nobody’s like ‘Oye, perdon pero — omg, I meant sorry! JAJAJAJA’. Hell, sometimes we only know the word we want to say in our 2nd language and that’s a frustrating experience.

no I get that part like when a non-Latino person or whatever language they are using makes it like we aren't aware it when we switch. and does that shit. like we do not act like that or talk specifically like that . they need to cut that shit out because it’s annoying . 

  I'm just talking about someone saying that we don't switch and the fact that it’s embarrassing.  I switch from Spanish to English all the time . when Im in Montreal I switch from Spanish and french because I don't remember what the word is for another language. ( especially french ) I personally am not embarrassed doing that. Frustrated at times but not embarrassed . and people who switch languages on the spot shouldn't feel like they are embarrassing for doing that.

Depends entirely on organizational skills tbh. Nothing worse than reading lore that’s thrown all onto one page without rhyme or reason. And I’ve seen it more than I care to say, which is why it’s not /super/ popular in the rpc. But when done with care? /chefs kiss

oh i FEEL that. pages with tiny font in huge paragraphs are really hard for me to get through. but with the way that page codes have evolved there are so many good options for how to organize and present information in a beautiful and interesting ways!!

I run a rp and decided against a Discord chat. Members opted for the ooc sideblog and it's honestly the best decision ever. I've also run into cliquey behavior on Discord and I think it's because if you don't have enough time or energy to devote to be 'the fun loud person' in a Discord chat, it quickly becomes about who does chats the most rather than who is actually posting. And also, as an admin, I didn't want to have to monitor 2 different places either. Sideblogs need to make a comeback!

I totally get what your saying! Sometimes discords cna be totally dominated by the one person who is able to be online all the time and it doesn't really leave room for the more shy or busy people! For my most recent rp I made a tumblr ooc blog but I didn’t get to see how it played out! However, I am all for trying out different strategies and seeing what works for groups! Because each group has a different dynamic and therefore different needs! I know I need discord for my skeleton rps but those only have 12 characters so cliques aren’t really possible! but for bigger groups maybe ooc blogs are the way to go!
