Lucifer and Bob getting into a violent emotionally driven scrap. No weapons no demon magic just two guys beating the shit out of each other. Or trying to. Lucifer crying and vulnerable and biting and scratching and that’s why he’s not being smart with the fight. Bob initially angry but realizing he has the size advantage and restraining Lucifer (air jail) and calming him down.

Bobifer ramble

TLDR: Lucifer has an elevated view of Bob despite his goal of destruction.

Lucifer, as the devil, operates on manipulation and hatred toward humans. His main goal is to destroy the world and take over the remains. He wants power, yes, but it stems from jealousy and a feeling of abandonment from God. His daddy issues drive him more than his love of evil.

Then there’s his thing with Bob. Lucifer has got something going on for Bob. He’s intimidated by Bob— calling him “wily” when chided for being scared of him. Lucifer knows Bob is way more capable than Bob even realizes, as he clocks it early in the first episode.

Lucifer isn’t above seducing and misguiding Bob with money and sexualized women. Lucifer is, however, above guilt tripping Bob for assuming such. He mutters to himself shamefully after snapping at Bob outside the casino.

He ultimately respects Bob. He sees him as a real threat, but also as a friend. Bob as a person is digestible for both God and Lucifer— he’s so morally gray and wishy washy they all get along.

The difference between God and Bob’s relationship and Lucifer and Bob’s relationship is apparent: God is above Bob, Lucifer is equals with Bob.
