@bobrvynolds sent ❝ If you throw that snowball, run. Fast. ❞ from here !
the brunette knew damn well he shouldn't do it. bob had been riddled with finals stress for the past week and having just walked out of his last one, surely wanted to relax. bucky—who had taken all of his early, thanks to baseball scheduling—waited outside the english building for the entirely of the test. he took turns between smoking a cigarette and letting his breath create its own clouds in the air, but when the door first swung open, his face immediately cut into a boyish grin.
grabbing a fistful of snow, he packed it tight within his gloves and searched for familiar golden brown curls in the small sea of faces. as soon as he saw him, he pushed off the wall, grin still lighting his features. ❝ look who survived fall semester… ❞ the other students swarmed around and past bucky, they were more than used to never seeing one without the other. ❝ what-- this little thing ? ❞ grin only widened and his arm wound back… pity be to anyone who got hit by a snowball wielded by a promising young outfielder. he let it fly, and took off running before he could even enjoy the sight of it exploding against bob's chest.
winter break now begun and his warm family home waiting for them both that night— so much could happen in the span of such a short break.

car + motorcycle here, so let's peek at what she leave in bob's truck <3
a hair tie around the gear shift. a hoodie (because the heat still takes ages to kick in). an extra pack of gum in the glove box (she's trying not to smoke in his car). a phone charger. two burned cds (his edm mix, then one they made together). a tracker tucked under the hubcap.

a folio of discarded old mission/press briefs from mel; the cover is coffee-ringed. a crumpled NYT front page--inside the custody battle for avengers tower. bottle caps. a plastic lighter (dead). a page ripped from the new yorker: the legacy of natasha romanoff. another plastic lighter (probably not dead, but definitely forgotten).

her current heavy rotation is techno, mainly because she finds it the easiest to zone out and run/train to (and to her, it's the least like classical).

Walker stood in the doorway for a second, like he was still figuring out whether this counted as crossing a line, then decided he didn't care.
"How much space do you need, man?" His tone was exasperated, but it wasn't really a joke. If the last mission had gone sideways, no one had filled him in-- but Walker had picked up on the tension quick enough. "I haven't seen you in like, two days or whatever." (Three and a half days. Not that he kept track.)
A part of him didn't fully understand why people were still acting jumpy around the kid. John had shoved his time in the Void into a tidy box in his brain way too fast to be healthy, but that also meant he didn't flinch when Bob dared to get a little sharp with someone. Shit, people flinched around him all the time, but that made sense.
He leaned against the wall, deceptively relaxed. Didn't look at Bob directly --that was another thing he kinda liked, the way Bob never quite looked at him either-- just let his gaze skim the room, checking the exits out of habit.
"Tell me what happened or don't," he said, nodding at the cube in Bob's hands. "But if you're gonna sulk in here, can you stop fucking around with that so loud? Just solve it, dude."

Q had to smile to himself as he pulled open one of the numerous filing cabinets and started flicking through the records kept within them. "Someone has to; not to worry, I've had a lot of practice." His agents kept him on his toes, more than made any feasible sense as senior civil servants all around.
"That's correct..." The Quartermaster nodded. "But we'd have to be caught by one of the three people who would know that, anyone else would assume I'm doing this for a reason- Which I am." Even if that was a personal reason. "But that is the purpose of looking through the physical archives instead of just... Searching it on the system." A small smile. "Harder to trace. You can sit in my office if you'd prefer?"

"I think that was tequila. Note for the future: don't just take any drink Alexei hands you. That's the worst way to figure out what you do and don't like." Ava quickly undid the cap of the Sprite bottle before handing it over. "Small sips. Chugging it's only going to make you throw up more."
@bobrvynolds
"Hey Bobby, Bobby," he was definitely hung over because only then would he be so forth coming with nicknames. He was usually a little uneasy about nicknames with the exception of Bucky...well because he's Bucky.
"Bobby, you know what I think...I think that you could get anyone you wanted any time you wanted, you're just not all that confident...so if you drink the confidence juice, you'll be able to go far..."he was holding a bottle of vodka.
"I like confidence juice."

Okay, ouch. Elliot felt all of the wind knocked out of him as his back slammed against the mat, curling up instinctively as he took a moment to catch what little was left of his breath. "Alright, alright, show off. We ain't all got superstrength." He was grinning even as his arm curled protectively over his abdomen.
"Not that that wasn't hot as fuck-" Shit, he shouldn't have said that. "-b-but can you, like, order me not to end up with a massive bruise? Thanks." He got shakily to his feet, though it was just his body's reaction to the huge surge of adrenaline.
