In 2019 in Florida (USA). After their first meeting in Paris with Bruce Dickinson, Samuel and Paulo Cavalcanti brought new samples of TROOPER BRASIL IPA for Bruce to taste and choose his favorite beer to represent Iron Maiden in Brazil!

Today, in a festive atmosphere, we celebrate 6 years of this AWESOME creation that broke all sensory and continental barriers, transforming Cervejaria Bodebrown into the official birthplace of Iron Maiden in Brazil!

MANDRAKE JAMBU ALE: Another revolutionary creation by Samuel Cavalcanti and Bruce Dickinson, showcasing Brazilian culture in the beer world, an American IPA with Jambu flower, made especially for Bruce Dickinson's Mandrake Project tour!

We were delighted to welcome Bruce back to our brewery to show him what we've created here!

This magical beer features a surprise element known as jambu flower or Acmella oleracea, a plant native to northern Brazil known for its anesthetic properties, causing a tingling sensation in the mouth. This characteristic makes it a surprising ingredient in Mandrake Jambu Ale, enriching the taste experience delicately shared with the explosive dry-hopping process of jambu flower and heavy doses of Citra and Mosaic hops, creating a harmonious balance of Pilsen, Munich, Carapils, and Wheat Malt malts. With its 6.1% ABV, this beer is a true sensory disruption, an American IPA with responsible jambu, with plenty of refreshing medium-low bitterness, ideal for lunch, dinner, barbecues... all day long!
