I had a Bodie moment last night

been sitting on these for a while. plushies bodie made as gifts :)

a damselfly for someone very deserving. an orchid mantis for someone who is very much not.

please imagine bodie doing in depth research about what differentiates a damselfly from a dragonfly so they can really try to get it right.

Like I said, he's actually doing pretty great. He thinks getting knocked out of the running for all that Fleet nonsense was probably the best thing that ever happened to him. He lives on a little ranch with a young fella he half sorta raised and he's very content to be Just Some Dude

aforementioned little fella (also designed by Newt) is Albora "Bodie" Bombyx, who runs a sort of independent build-a-bear business using sewing skills they acquired working for a countess in their youth :] also quite happy with life.

I'll probably tweak their blood color to be closer to my legal shades but. Still a mutant, what with the wings and all. They're pragmatic though. They figured out how to survive.
