o10. || Self-care encompasses a wide range of things. Self-care can be rock climbing, scuba diving, riding a train while listening to your favorite playlist, deep conditioning, going to the flower market once a week, volunteering at a community event once a month, or just talking with a friend. Skin/body care is top 5 for me. Washing the day away in warm water, lighting scented candles, and flipping through the pages of a book is a spiritual practice that brings me a lot of comfort. Replenishing my skin with natural products makes me feel safe and protected.
