Enjolras +/ Combeferre

So, the various parts of me are really inconsistent in what they want from this relationship. Which is appropriate, I suppose, for anything that involves Combeferre,

Headcanon: Best friends, or queerplatonic life partners. It’s really hard to see where the line between those is drawn for these two—largely because I can’t see Enjolras drawing much of a distinction.

Heartcanon: I’ve mentioned before on here that I can either view Enjolras as aromatic or as polyromantic and in love with all his friends. I have real trouble imagining him singling out a romantic relationship as qualitatively different from his other friendships--unless it’s Combeferre. Their relationship should be different from what Enjolras has with anyone else.

Gutcanon: That said, I lean much more toward shipping them with other people than with each other. (Prouvaire with Combeferre, Grantaire or Feuilly with Enjolras.) Shipping Enjolras with Combeferre doesn’t gain you much from a dramatic standpoint, because they’re already so close and so important to each other. I’d rather see either of them develop that intimacy with someone else and contrast those relationships.

Junkcanon: There is a scene in the Time Agents thing that I hope to pull into the sex pollen-verse and I am determined to use somewhere, where asexual Combeferre’s response to finding out Enjolras is sleeping with Grantaire is “I always assumed you were like me. Or else I just wanted us to have that in common,” and Enjolras says “Well. So did I.”

That’s more a combined heart-gut-junk canon than strictly junk, but it is what large parts of me want for no good reason except that they want it.

Spleencanon: Again, I don’t have much to say here except THEY ALL LIVE, DAMMIT.

vin is squishy. squishable. he’s strong and at some point was very athletic or at least active and there’s muscle there but it’s all up under a layer of *insert joke about pizza dough here*

Black - Knife wounds

There are others I haven't added yet but will probably update at a later time when I think of them. Boy has probably been shot a few times at the very least given his previous job *and* his life on the streets before that.
