2Pac - Dear Mama (Boehm Remix)
I have never been a fan of 2Pac remixes. But i every now and then make an exception, not that i am the judge of qualifies as a good or bad remix. Its just from a personal perspective and growing up listning to 2Pac’s music and the feelings i associate towards it.
As i said, every now and then, a remix comes along that makes the cut. Reason being that the artist/DJ manages to keep the essence of the original track and still add something to it.
In these dense Tropical House times, there are a lot of remixes being pushed out there of Dj’s trying to get the next big Tropical House track as Kygo, but few ever make it.
I just recently came across Boehm, he has a sound that just appeals to me and i find enjoyable and chilled out. His remix of 2Pac’s “Dear Mama” is one of those tracks that makes the cut. It keeps the essence of 2Pac, and still adds something like a new twist to a track. I truly enjoyed it, and it had me digging up some oldies from 2Pac and just remeniccing of the good ol days.
Its sad to say, but very few tracks these days, even though i love a lot of them, will ever give me the same feelings as the good old 2Pac’s tracks.
Strongly suggest to check out and follow Boehm.
